Crafty Little Fairies - top of the pops

Morning everyone :o)

I should be at the gym, but I'm far too busy worrying about Morgan and feel the need to be right by the phone lol... so I'll have a day in the craft room instead.

Our new challenge at Crafty Little Fairies is one of those that I dread, because my mind goes completely blank - 'top of the pops' (or inspired by a song).  Even though I listen to loads of different music, I can only ever come up with something deeply embarrassing and I might have outdone myself this time with 'Lipstick, Powder & Paint' by Shakin' Stevens... hangs head in shame... For some unknown reason, when I was around 7 or 8 I had a bit of a crush on old Shaky - I even had a Shaky calendar... it must have been quite worrying for my parents lol.

Our fab sponsors this week are The Ribbon Girl and Iva Nova Chest.

  2. Crafty therapy cures all Lisa!! I'm sure he's having a wonderful time despite his sore hand! That said I still worry about my boys at 23 and 19!! Lovely card and what's wrong with a bit of old Shaky!? 10/10 for an "unusual" song choice that's for sure! Have a good day if you can xx

  7. Oh that is just beautiful Lisa! Love the shape of the card and your colouring is perfect (almost goes without saying!).

I think I'd be right there worrying as well if Emily had a few nights away as well! She's never had any sort of sleepover or trip/holiday away - I would probably even be going so far as to pick the phone up every so often to make sure it's working!!!!

PS - You and me both with Shaky - I even had a couple of albums!! I also used to know every word to Green Door and This Old House!! Nothing to be ashamed of at all
