WPlus9 Layered Butterflies - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday!

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, using a fab little WPlus9 layered butterfly die... unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure Sally will have it back in soon.

This photo shows the dimension a bit better...

There are 3 layers to the butterfly (plus a body die), the bottom layer, which I've cut 3 times, and separate top and bottom wings.  I adhered the centre of each layer with glossy accents and popped up the wings of the bottom layer with clear mounting pads... I think these would show through the vellum if they were under the top layers, but they're fine like this.  I didn't use the body die as I wanted to add some of the new Doodlebug Fall Sprinkles... wish I could show you how shimmery they are, they're fab!

I added some foam pads under the sentiment panel too, so it curves slightly in the middle... I think little things like that make simple cards more interesting.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening.

Owen TV Games - DigiStamp Boutique

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique, using an image from an older set that's just perfect for teens and tweens...

This card is for our older son Morgan, who'll be 12 in a couple of weeks and is permanently attached to his Xbox... he's also going through an 'everything is awesome' stage... School is awesome!... Lunch was awesome!... Labradors are awesome, can we have one?!... You get the general idea I'm sure ;o)

The grey 'paper' was made with cardstock and ink from Stampin' Up (smoky slate) and various repeated stamps from the Clearly Besotted 'text me' set.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - repeat, repeat
Simon Says - create your own background

Thanks for popping in... Hope you have a lovely evening!

New Home in Chocolate Mint

Hello everyone :o)

I don't get chance to play along at Less is More very often at the moment, but I needed a couple of new home cards so I thought I'd follow their theme for this week, which is 'chocolate mint'.

I used the same supplies for each card, but wasn't in the mood for making them exactly the same so I moved things round a bit!  The cardstock is all Stampin' Up.

Off for a little catch up with your blogs... Hope you have a lovely evening :o)

MFT Happy - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I'm here with my Craft Mojo DT card for this week, using lots of MFT dies and some Doodlebug goodies...

I cut the 'happy' die 4 times and layered them up for a bit of dimension, and masked part of one of the 'Celebrate You' stamps to get the 'birthday' sentiment.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)
