Wish Upon a Star - LOTV

Hello again :o)

I've used another of the lovely re-released stamps from Lili of the Valley for today's card, this one is Wish Upon a Star and is available HERE.

I coloured the image with copics, added some Nuvo clear sparkle pen on the tutu and star, cut it out and popped it on a Spellbinders 'blossom' die.  The papers are a mix of Galaxy Stars and Watercolour Dots - Warm Sunrise, also from Lili of the Valley.  The sentiment is one of the clear stamps Sally-Ann released before Digi Stamp Boutique closed (not sure if they'll still be available somewhere), and the stitched die is MFT die-namics, pearls from my stash.  The card is 5"x 7", just to give you an idea of the stamp size.

Our theme for this week over at Sweet Stampin' is 'things that go round' (so wheels, clocks etc), which I must admit had me stumped for a while.  I rummaged through some images and spotted this one... hula hoops go round, don't they?  Well they do if you can keep them up long enough...

Sweet Stampin' - favourite colour combo

Sorry to have disappeared for a while - my eBosser finally gave up, so I had nothing to cut with... I've replaced it with a Gemini, which is fabulous!  The plates are much lighter than the eBosser ones, and it cuts so well - the die cuts just pop out of the dies, no fiddling, swearing, poking or tearing involved lol.

Anyway... I'm here with my DT card for Sweet Stampin', where our challenge for this week is 'favourite colour combo' and we're sponsored by Live & Love Crafts.  I don't really have a favourite colour combo, there are so many I love to use... I decided on blue & green though.

Bluebell 1st Birthday

Happy Easter... hope you've had a lovely day :o)  Have you overdone it on the chocolate?  I haven't... but I'm sure I will do this evening lol!

I'm finally settling in at my new colouring desk in the craft room... it's taken a while to get going again, but I really enjoyed colouring this little cutie.

The stamp is a Bluebell one from Wild Rose Studio, but I'm not sure of the exact name as it seems to have been discontinued... which just shows how long I must have had it, and it's never been inked before!

Without Words - Boo!

Hello everyone :o)

Our challenge at Without Words for this month is 'Boo!'... we'd like to see something spooky, scary or magical.

I don't really make Halloween cards, but Dex was invited to a birthday party recently... I asked him what I should put on Jack's card, and he said 'zombies'... I might not ask him next time!  Luckily Sally-Ann at DigiStamp Boutique came to the rescue with this Cute Monster Zombie image, and fab matching sentiment... as there's not much zombie stuff out there that's suitable for a 7yr old!

Swings 'n Slides Lollipop - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello... hope you're all having a good week :o)

Here's my DT card for Little Miss Muffet, using a very cute image that I've had printed out for some time waiting to be used... I had a sort out of my printed images and am slightly appalled at how many there are!  Some are part-coloured and then abandoned, most haven't been coloured at all... hundreds of them!  I might have to make it a mission to use at least one a week, it's so wasteful really isn't it?

I've used my favourite Doodlebug papers again - I had to buy another pad of these as I was down to just scraps!

Polka Dot Pals Andy - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for Little Miss Muffet, using a cute image called Andy...

He'd be so appropriate for either of my boys, but Morgan's birthday isn't until September and it's bound to get used/ sold before then... oh well, I'll just have to make another!

He's coloured with copics as it's the easiest thing for me to use, but I'm just itching to get the DI markers out again... hopefully I'll get time to play with them a bit at the weekend.

Party Monsters - Craft Mojo DT

Hello everyone, hope you're having a great weekend - it's been lovely and sunny here today!

I'm back with my 2nd post for today, my DT card for Craft Mojo, using some of the fab goodies that are new in to the shop.

I absolutely love this set of monster stamps from Taylored Expressions... hopefully you can tell from the 2nd photo that I've stamped him out several times and then layered him up, and he's got a black enamel sprinkle on his eye, as it was the perfect size.  He's also covered in Wink of Stella, but as usual it's not really showing in the photos.

I've also used the brand new linen background stamp and stitched strip dies from MFT... I have soooo many favourites from their new release, it was such a good one this month!
