Princess Evie - Sugar Nellie DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my Sugar Nellie DT card, using another of those gorgeous ScrapBerrys girls... loved colouring this one, her dress is fab!

It definitely needs more 'stuff' adding, but I went blank so I'll have to add something later!

The boys finished school today, and it was Morgan's leavers assembly... oh, how I sobbed... especially when some of the children (Morgan included) started to cry.  We're going to try and meet up with a couple of his best friends in the school hols, as they're going to different secondary schools and will really miss each other.  It's such a shame, and I feel bad for 'taking him away' from all his friends, but actually the school was his choice lol!  Things would have been easier if he'd chosen the local feeder school, but he didn't want to go there.

We're off on our holiday tomorrow, and my blog's having a week off too, as I just couldn't fit it all in!  There'll be a scheduled post tomorrow and next Saturday, but that's it... this has taught me that going away the first week of the school holidays doesn't work for me!  Will plan better next year!

Hope you all have a lovely evening, and have a great week too!  See you when we get back :o)

Saw this on the Sugar Nellie site earlier today, it's gorgeous. Love the colours, layers and her dress looks superb.
As long as you have managed to do the important things then that should be enough... now go and enjoy that holiday!

Enjoy the blog break...it is well earned. You have left us this fabulous card to view. I too love her dress.
I don't think she needs more...she3 looks perfect to me. The lovely swirl with the pretty stacked DP pattern is perfect.

Sorry I have not been leaving comments lately. I used to go catch up and leave comments on 6 or 7 posts all at once...but now my computer or maybe even blogger, will only let me leave one comment and then I have to sign out and sign back in again!

I do go through and catch up...just not always commenting like before, as I am having trouble with my hands swelling due to a new medication I have to take for my arthritis. It usually straightens itself out as I get used to it...so I will be back as Arnold would say! lol

Hi Lisa.
Oh how I cried when my Son left his school. My Father had died at he end of the May so as they played Bette Midler singing "Wind beneath my Wings" I just burst out crying..
It's another chapter in our children growing up isn't it. My next step is going ahead next week, my Daughter Eve is moving into her new house with her Fiancée.

Gorgeous card and what a super dress to colour, your swirl is lovely too.
Enjoy your time off and "Speak" when you are back in Blogland.

Oh Lisa your day sounds just like minds been, I too sobbed at Ben's leavers assembly and don't seemed to have stopped all evening. It's especially hard to see the children so upset, nearly all the girls in Ben's class were crying.
Your card is absolutely gorgeous, she's adorable.
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday.
