MFT Blueprints 17 Chalkboard - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday :o)

Ok, so it's a blackboard here, not a chalkboard!  But here's a card using the new MFT Blueprints 17 and the Chalkboard Greetings stamps.

I made a base card using the blackboard shape - really easy to do... just score and fold your card, then place the top edge of the die above the fold and cut as usual.  I then covered the front with the woodgrain panel pieces, and added a piece of black card behind the aperture for the 'blackboard'.  The greeting was stamped in white ink, and I also smudged a bit around the edges to make it look more chalky!

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Less is More - anything goes
Seize the Birthday - twine/ string
Simon Says - emboss it (woodgrain embossing)
Addicted to CAS - celebrate

We've just got back from our week in Norfolk... we've had a lovely time and it's been very hot and sunny.  We picked the cats up from the cattery, and were told that they've been curled up in the basket together and got on really well... we actually paid for adjoining kennels for them, as they usually can't stand each other, but they had a cat flap in between so they could 'visit' each other.  They seem fine now we're home too, so maybe this holiday will have sorted them out and they'll be friends from now on lol.

Off for a little catch up with your blogs... hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Great card Lisa, I love how you've made it like a blackboard.

Love this card and now want the dies and stamps!! I must not buy, I must not buy....
I'm glad you've had a great holiday and good weather. Aren't cats funny. Maybe I should put mine in the cattery to make my eldest cat like the two sisters we got as kittens. It's been 19 months since we got them and she still doesn't get on with them.
