Without Words - first challenge!

It's time for the very first challenge at Without Words today - a new monthly challenge blog started by my lovely friend Squirrel, and I was lucky enough to be asked to join her fab team :o)  The basic idea is that the focus should be on the colouring of your image, with a fairly CAS design - easy on the embellishments!  You can include a sentiment - I have - but your card should be all about the image.  Our first challenge is 'Autumn - a season of mellow fruitfulness and rich, warm colours'...

I've used a sweet Wellington Bear stamp - great for male cards because they're not too cute.  I coloured him with promarkers and flexmarkers.  The 'for you' and 'Grandad' stamps are from the same Wellington set, with a little punched heart, and the leafy paper is from the First Edition Boho Chic pad.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

Hope you're having a lovely Saturday so far... I'm planning another lazy one because we've not stopped all week.  I'll have a look through the photos later - hubby was in charge of the camera so I'm not sure if there'll be anything to show you lol.  I'll be back later with my Pink Gem DT card :o)
