Crafty Little Fairies - one for the boys

Hello everyone... thanks so much for all your kind messages yesterday.  I managed the whole day with just one wobbly moment - we always do a toast to Harvey and wish him happy birthday, and that set me off a bit... I'm not at all religious, but I tend to still think of him as 'out there' somewhere, hopefully with my dad.... silly really, when I don't believe anything else!

Spencer's Party - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello everyone... hope you're all well, hugs to all who need them.

I'm here with my DT card for Little Miss Muffet, using a new and very cute image called Spencer's Party.  I've used my Cameo to cut the base and layers - Donna used this fab shape recently and I had to have it... I'm not particularly good at using shaped bases, but I do like them so I'll persevere!

Sooo... in past years I've generally not posted a card on this date - it's exactly 7yrs since our beautiful baby Harvey was born sleeping.  It has traditionally been my day for wallowing and crying as much as I blimmin' well like.  But this year Pav said he was taking the day off, and we've spent the day together, just doing normal boring stuff like going to the gym... and I haven't cried (yet!).  So I think this may be the way to go next year too.

Eat cake - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I've made a little CAS creation for my Craft Mojo DT post today... although I faffed around with it for ages, so although it's simple it wasn't particularly quick!

The cakes, sentiment and  banner stamps are all from the Jane's Doodles Party Time set, and the little 'bows' on the banner are actually upturned leaves from the Doodle Flowers set!  I added one of my new favourites, the Wink of Stella brush marker, for a bit of shimmer on the cakes, and some Doodlebug Sprinkles to finish it off.

Cuthbert Cupid - hubby's valentine's card

Hello again!  I'm back with my 2nd post for today - my Valentine's card for Pav, using an adorable new image from Little Miss Muffet... this is Cuthbert Cupid...

As Pav gets to see most of my cards, it's nice to use something new for his card... and I'm very lucky that he doesn't have a problem with all things cute lol.  I used greys to colour Cuthbert, as I was waiting for my replacement brown copics to arrive, and I think he looks sweet in grey!

Next year I'm going to ignore him and buy presents so I don't feel guilty!  We'll be ordering a takeaway tonight and then curling up in front of the telly with a bottle of bubbly... boring aren't we?!
