Crafty Little Fairies - one for the boys

Hello everyone... thanks so much for all your kind messages yesterday.  I managed the whole day with just one wobbly moment - we always do a toast to Harvey and wish him happy birthday, and that set me off a bit... I'm not at all religious, but I tend to still think of him as 'out there' somewhere, hopefully with my dad.... silly really, when I don't believe anything else!

Right, so onto the reason you actually visit... Here's my DT card for Crafty Little Fairies, where our challenge  for this week is 'one for the boys', and we're sponsored by Handy Hippo.

Items Used
7" square card - made from white linen card - Papermill Direct
Digi stamp - Baron & Butch - Mo Manning
Colouring - copics
Papers - MME (trying to use up some older paper pads!)
Impression Obsession tag dies
MFT By the Numbers dies
Memory Box Simple Banner die
Sentiment stamp - Personal Impressions
Pearl from my stash

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - lovely layers
Eureka Stamps - animal friends
Penny's Paper Crafty - lots of layers

Off for a little catch up with some of your blogs... Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

Totally gorgeous Lisa - amazing depth of colour and such a sweet image.
Sorry I missed your post yesterday - so glad you made it through the day with just the one 'wobble' - I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel or how I would cope with it.
Enjoy the rest of the evening.

I really felt for you all yesterday. To get through the day with just one 'wobble' was a really big step forward for you.
The colouring on your card today is sooo good. His hair looks fab and his jacket...well I know how hard reds are to colour without it bleeding. Great card! Debra x

Fab card Lisa, love the image and colours. You are entitled to wobble ... you wouldn't b normal if you didn't - they say it gets easier in time, I'm personally not so sure. Hugs and love, Claire x

Gorgeous card Lisa. I love how you have coloured his hair.
You are so entitled to have a 'wobble' I can't imagine how it must feel to lose a baby.

Ooh Lisa another fabulous card! I love how you pull the whole design together with the colours and layers. Your colouring is, always, perfect as well.

I really, truly cannot imagine what you go through every year. We had such trouble getting Emily that I don't know what I'd do if we lost her.

I don't know what I believe either but there has to be more than just 'here' then 'not here'. Who knows, but if it gives you comfort why question it.

What a fun image and a lovely card. And, be still my heart.... another banner. You know I just love them and what you do with them. I doubt I'd know what to do with one personally though.
