One Layer Sentiment...

Hello everyone :o)

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my new craft room... I'm very, very happy with it, and yes I'm very lucky!  Looking forward to many happy years of crafting in here.  If you haven't seen the pics, they're on the post below this one.

This card is my attempt at this week's challenge at Less is More, which is 'one layer sentiment'.  I still don't feel all that comfortable with one layer cards, but have had a go!

I embossed a panel for the sentiment, plus lots of 'stripes' using my scoreboard.  The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, and the butterflies are from a Jane's Doodles set, stamped using Memento inks (rose bud, tangelo & cantaloupe).  I have a real urge to add a few sequins, but that's not really one layer is it?!

Hopefully I'll be back again tomorrow with another post... ooh I'm almost a real blogger again eh?!

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)

This is just delightful, Lisa! You have kept your card CAS, yet there is plenty of color, texture and interest here. Well done!

It's great to see you back. I'm hopeless at one layer cards. You seem to have the knack!

Love your craft room and your card is stunning - I always struggle with one layer cards!

You would never know you had an issue with OLCs, this is lovely. Those score lines add such great texture and interest, yet it remains beautifully CAS.
Thanks for sharing with us.
