Westie Walkies

Hello everyone :o)

Here's a card I made for an order, using a super cute image from Di's Digi Stamps, called Westie Walkies.

I coloured it with copics, and thought I'd made a huge mess of the white fur, until I added some strokes of white uni Posca pen, and then I was quite happy with it.  I added dots of white pen on the wellies too, because wellies should be spotty don't you think?  The papers are old ones from LOTV, ribbon is from Fantastic Ribbons, the flowers are an MFT die with Doodlebug enamel dot centres, the stitched circle die is from a Creative Dies set from Craft Stash.  The sentiment is from a new clear stamp set from Digi Stamp Boutique available HERE.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Dragonfly Journeys - year of the dog
Crafty Catz - anything goes + optional birthdays
Cute Card Thursday - cute critters

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Wow, stunning colouring, esp the fur.

If this animal looks at you like this then it does not matter whether it rains, snows or storms. Then you take him / her straight away, for a good walk.
This is such a cute card. I love it, how you colored the fur.

Oh Lisa, this is just so gorgeous! Fabulous colouring especially the fur, that pen worked a treat. Love the colour and paper combination. The flowers and ribbon finish it off beautifully.
My in-laws had westies. Their second one Dougal (although it was a female) thought I was playing when reaching for something bit me when I was thirteen and I ended up going for a tetanus shot. I blamed their son for that as he teased it a lot although I did marry him six years later! Debra x

Congrats for winning at Di's Digis with this wonderful card. Everything about it from colors to layout to coloring is stellar. (And I especially love how you added dots to the boots to match the ribbon. Adorable!)
