Mr Bear and a bunny - Digi Stamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone, and Happy Valentine's Day :o)

I've used one of this month's cute new images for today's card... this is Mr Bear.

He's available as part of the Mr Bear Banner set HERE... I added one of the included sentiments and coloured him with copics.  The papers are older ones from MME (Miss Caroline Howdy Doody), the little stitched tab is a MFT die-namics die and the enamel dots are Doodlebug.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Sketch Saturday - fab sketch
Animal Friends - stripes and/ or dots
Crafty Animals - anything goes

Now originally I started colouring another of this month's images, with prisma pencils, for today's card, but I wasn't happy enough with it for it to go on a finished card.  So I thought I'd share it anyway as a sort of colouring practice progress thing, and I can keep notes on the back of each piece of where I went wrong/ right, and maybe revisit the images for another go when I've got a bit better with the pencils...

This cute image is Spring Bunny... I'm fairly happy with the jumper and the grass, but made a mess of the bunny and flowers.  More pencil practice required!  The 'off-white' paper (I'm using Canson Mi-Teints) also takes a lot of getting used to when you're used to the bright white of copic-friendly paper.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Yeah know what you mean about the bunny but not sure how to fix maybe the bunny and background are too much the same colour but I do love the card and would be happy if it was mine

Love your shabby effect Lisa a Super card as for the bunny? I'd be VERY happy with the card, I admire your "attempt" at colouring with pencils, I think it's a lovely card.
