Chubby Chums owl - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone!

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, and this week I've played with one of the cute Paper Smooches Chubby Chums stamps...

I also used a pretty MFT stencil and some translucent embossing paste... it dries clear and glossy, and I quite like it!

Annoyingly, there's a tiny smear of glue on the card base, which hardly shows at all in real life but is glaringly obvious in the photo... grrr!

Furry Friends book card - Sugar Nellie DT

Hello everyone :o)

I've made a book card for today's Sugar Nellie DT card... haven't made one of these for ages, and I'd forgotten how fiddly they are, and how awkward it is to get decent photos of them!  I really like them though... great for putting little gifts in.

Love this cat image, I think it might be my favourite of the Furry Friends... I'm quite likely to change my mind next time I colour one though!

Babe Superstar - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for Little Miss Muffet, which was made for one of my lovely regular customers.  I've used the adorable Babe Superstar image again... definitely my most used baby image as it's so handy for adding personalised details.

The wooden buttons are from my stash, and the Ivory Linen card is from Papermill Direct (can't work out how to add this to InLinkz!).

Winter Stanley - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique, using a very cute image from the new Winter Stanley set.

A super simple one... I just cut a circle aperture and popped Stanley behind it.  The snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch, but I can't find a link for it.

So... we live at the top of a cul-de-sac... Every day I reverse down the road until I can turn round, several times a day usually, without any problems.  So, why is it, whenever there are workmen on our road (today, for example), they feel the need to stand behind my car 'helping' me to reverse?  What do they think I do when they're not there?  T'is a mystery!

WPlus9 Layered Butterflies - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday!

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, using a fab little WPlus9 layered butterfly die... unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure Sally will have it back in soon.

This photo shows the dimension a bit better...

There are 3 layers to the butterfly (plus a body die), the bottom layer, which I've cut 3 times, and separate top and bottom wings.  I adhered the centre of each layer with glossy accents and popped up the wings of the bottom layer with clear mounting pads... I think these would show through the vellum if they were under the top layers, but they're fine like this.  I didn't use the body die as I wanted to add some of the new Doodlebug Fall Sprinkles... wish I could show you how shimmery they are, they're fab!

I added some foam pads under the sentiment panel too, so it curves slightly in the middle... I think little things like that make simple cards more interesting.
