Sweet Stampin' - create a scene!

Sooo... I was really struggling with this one!  None of my ideas were working out, and then I noticed Paula's announcement that Pollycraft was reopening... went to have a nosey in her new-look shop, and she had a great background scene that I thought I could put together with an image I bought (and hadn't used yet) when she was closing Pollycraft almost a year ago.  I'm still not very happy with my card, but it's not as bad as my other attempts lol!

Less is More - a sketch

Hello everyone :o)

There's a fab sketch by Jen at Less is More this week... I've got lots of ideas so hopefully I'll be back later in the week with more creations, but here are my first ones...

Apologies for the dreadful photos - both cards are made with the exact same white linen cardstock, but you'd never know it from these pics!

Items Used

Image & papers - Mr Moustache set - Pink Petticoat

Sentiments - computer generated using Pharmacy font

('fan-tache-tic' pun came from a sentiment included in the set)

Buttons - Papermania

I cut the images out, popped them up on foam pads and glossy accented them, but you can't really tell from the pics.  I cut the fishtails on the sentiments using the corner of my Stampin' Up square punch, and all the paper edges have been distressed.

Jack, Patch & Puss

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

Today's card is a fairly quick one using a pre-coloured image from the Jack, Patch & Puss art pad from LOTV... I bought a few of these pads as it seems like a great way to get lots of different images to use quickly.  I haven't bothered with the sketch pads though, as I only use one type of card to colour on so I'm not sure how well they'd work for me.
