I'm a bit late with this one - our new challenge started at A Gem of a Challenge yesterday, and this time we have a 'fairies' theme chosen by Lisa.
I've cheated a bit, and used the pre-coloured version of this cute little Fairy Teddy - very handy for when you're in a rush or don't feel like colouring, but it also comes with a normal outline version so you can colour it yourself too. I just added a bit of sparkle on the yellow bits, but they're not really showing up in the photo.
The papers are Pink Petticoat, sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the ribbon is from my stash. I don't seem to be able to make a card at the moment without using kraft card! I must try and resist on my next card...
I used yet another sketch from the free choice challenge at Sketch n Stash - they'll be banning me from joining in soon!
I noticed this morning that I've gone over 700 followers - wow, how fab is that?! Huge thanks to everyone who chooses to follow me, I really do appreciate it, and I'll be putting a little candy on here in the next few days to say thank you. Morgan STILL isn't back - they've been delayed a bit by the snow, but he's on his way so could be back any minute :o)

Guest DT call at The Stamp Basket
Would any of you like to be a Guest DT for The Stamp Basket? See this post on The Stamp Basket blog for all the details!
I'm a bit fed up tonight... you know I said earlier that Morgan would be back tonight? Well apparently he got muddled up and he actually arrives back at 10am tomorrow! I was so looking forward to having him back and now I have to wait another night... boo! He'll be thrilled to see all the snow though - one thing he's been worried about while he was away, was that it would snow and he'd miss it lol, typical boy.
Back in the morning with a card - haven't had chance to take a photo of it yet!

GDT for Stamp Fairy
A few weeks ago I had a lovely email from Gerda, asking if I'd like to be Stamp Fairy's guest designer for February, and of course I said yes :o) I'm not very happy with my card though - it was a bad colouring day!
I coloured the image with prisma pencils. The papers are from an MME pad that was free with a magazine ages ago, cardstock is Stampin' Up, wooden flowers, buttons and pearl from my stash, the sentiment is Pink Petticoat.
You can see this week's new release images here
My card is based on this sketch from the free choice challenge at Sketch n Stash
Hope you're all enjoying your weekend - have you got any snow yet? We haven't, but it's supposed to be starting this afternoon - it's absolutely freezing out there though! Ooh and Morgan will be home from his hols at about 10pm tonight, I can't wait! I should have another card today, so hopefully I'll be back later, have a lovely day everyone :o)

Cuddly Siblings - The Stamp Basket DT
As usual I seem to be very late with my blog post! Hoping to get as caught up as I can this weekend, I hate it when I'm so behind with everything. Today is my day for posting on The Stamp Basket blog and I've used one of the sweet stamps Magnolia's 'sweet crazy love' collection. If you've already seen my post on The Stamp Basket blog, you'll know that I had a bit of a mishap with my colouring... so feel free to go over there and have a laugh at me lol, because I've more or less corrected it on these pics...
Items used from The Stamp Basket
Craftwork Cards - on the edge elegant white card blank
Magnolia - cuddly siblings stamp
Magnolia paper - cloudy blue hearts 6x6"
Memory Box - cherish border die
May Arts off-white ivory lace 3/8"
Crystal heart buttons - 12mm
Stickles glitter glue - diamond (on Tilda's frills)
I've coloured the sweet image with a combination of promarkers, flexmarkers and prisma pencils. The sentiment is LOTV, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and everything else is from The Stamp Basket.

Waste Not Wednesdays wk5
Yes, it's another late one from me! I'm sooo busy this week, and there's no end in sight yet... fingers crossed I'll be all caught up by next week.
As most of you probably know by now, Waste Not Wednesdays is my own little challenge to get all those unused stamps and digis coloured and made into cards. Everyone is welcome to join in using your own dusty stamps and images, just for fun usually but I thought we'd have another little prize again this week - although I haven't decided what it'll be yet, I'll add details later!
I used this sketch from the free choice week at Sketch n Stash
And here's my card...
Now I do feel like I'm cheating slightly with this week's 'unused image'... this one is definitely unused but I've made a card with the girl version of it before, and also I needed this card for an order so it's not specifically for Waste Not Wednesdays... never mind, it really can't be helped this week!
This little bear is from DigiStamp Boutique, available here, and I've coloured him with prisma pencils. The papers are K&Co, sentiment is a digi one from Sentiments 4 You - I just added the 'grandson' bit.
Sorry this is very rushed again, and I know I'm behind with all your lovely blogs too - every time I try to catch up something else comes along and foils my plans, I'll get there eventually!

Less is More - sketch
Sorry I've been such a rubbish blogger over the last few days - I haven't posted anything since Thursday and I'm so behind with my commenting too! I'll be starting to catch up with you all this evening. I had some stuff to do that I can't blog (or at least not yet), and also Dex has needed a lot more of my time and attention than usual, as he's really missing Morgan... well, we all are obviously, but time's a hard thing to understand when you're only 4! It doesn't matter how many times we explain that he won't be back until the weekend, Dex still gets excited every time he hears a car outside. We've all spoken to Morgan on the phone and he's having a fab time swimming with turtles and dolphins, and playing in the hotel pool, and he told Dex he's bought him a present. I had a little cry when I came off the phone with him yesterday though, because he sounded a bit homesick and said he was missing us. Looking forward to giving him a big cuddle!
Anyway, I managed to find some time today to make a card for Less is More, where the challenge for this week is a lovely simple sketch.
I had no intention of making a sympathy card when I started, so I'm not sure how my card turned into one... still, it's handy to have a few ready isn't it?
I've used the limited edition 'Seedless Preserves' distress ink, first using an ink duster brush and then around the edges with cut & dry foam. My duster brush seems to have some bits that are longer than others, so it gives this uneven, blotchy look that I'm not sure about... I think I quite like the effect really, although I don't think it's really meant to be like that! The stamp is the 'agapanthus cluster' by Stampendous, also stamped in seedless preserves, and the sentiment is Elzybells stamped in memento 'grape jelly'. The inky panel is raised up on foam pads.
I'm going to try and catch up with some of you now, if Dex will let me - he's currently trying to feed me yoghurt coated raisins (bleurgh!) so I'm not sure how successful I'll be!

We took Dex to the Legoland centre in Manchester today, he absolutely loved it! I haven't had chance to do any blogging all day though, so I'm really sorry if I haven't visited you yet - I will catch up with you all soon. Pav was in charge of the camera so most of our photos are blurry, but here's one of Dex with Buzz Lightyear made from Lego... Dex did smile for the photo but Pav missed it - which is typical lol!
