Thanks to everyone who commented on Morgan's school place yesterday... things are looking a teeny bit more positive today, fingers crossed.  There are 35 children on the waiting list for Morgan's first choice school (he's number 19 on the list apparently), and the headteacher wants to create an extra class... it's what they did last year, and they did manage to take all the extra ones last year.  The headteacher's had a meeting with the governors, and we just have to wait for the decision now... eek!

I'm very fed up today, as we found out that Morgan hasn't got into his first choice secondary school... he was completely set on going there and wouldn't even visit any other schools.  He's got his second choice, which is a good school and most of his friends are going there, but really we only filled in the other two choices so that he didn't end up with our catchment school which is in special measures at the moment, it's that bad!  He's been in tears this morning, but he's calmed down and more or less accepted it now.... very disappointed though.  Apparently 90% of children got their first choice school, which is about typical for us.

Bubbles Loves Bubbly - Craft Mojo DT

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, and for today's card I've been playing with one of the gorgeous Stamping Bella Uptown Girls... ooh I just love these stamps, I'd have them all if I could lol.

I cut an aperture for the image to sit behind, and raised the green spotty layer up with foam pads - not sure whether you can really tell from the photo though!

PDP Daisy - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello everyone :o)

I've used the adorable Polka Dot Pals Daisy for today's Little Miss Muffet DT card...  and I'm still trying to use up some of my older papers - this pad must be about 4yrs old... and it's not that I went off them - what tends to happen is, I get about half way through a pad, then stop because I don't want them all to be gone... very silly!

I'm not sure what's going on with the photos - poor Daisy looks like she's got a big slap mark on one cheek, but in 'real life' it's not there... I promise, she's unharmed really!

The boys are on half term this week and hubby's had a few days off too, so I apologise for being a bit quiet as far as blogging goes... it's nice to have a bit of family time though isn't it?  We went to the cinema yesterday to see Mr Peabody & Sherman (we all loved it) and we've been to Weston Park Museum today as Dex absolutely loves it there... so it's been a lovely couple of days, but hubby's back at work tomorrow... boo!

Woohooo! - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I'm running a bit late getting my Craft Mojo DT card posted - it's ok having hubby or the kids off, but if they're all off at the same time it gets a bit tricky to make anything!

I started this one with a very simple idea, to use one of the Paper Smooches chubby chums, with the Jane's Doodles present stamp in the background... and it sort of developed into something not very simple by the time I'd done!
