Journey - Sugar Nellie DT

Hello everyone!  I'm sooooo late posting - just got back from my mum's.  It was her birthday today and we ordered pizza, so I'm very full now!

Here's my DT card for Sugar Nellie, using a fab Leanne Ellis stamp... I wanted something a bit on the quirky side for my cousin, as I couldn't see her liking the pink and pretty kind of thing.

Colouring - copics
Papers - Docrafts Gorjuss
Spellbinders Curved Borders One dies

I'll be around for a good blog catch up this weekend, as I've finally finished most of the orders and other stuff on my various lists :o)

Another heart parade...

Hello again... I'm back with my second post for today, a card that I made for this week's Less is More challenge which is 'rainbow'... but I don't think I'm entering because it's not ended up all that 'rainbow like'!

Scraps of Echo Park papers
Digi sentiment - Pink Petticoat

Crafty Little Fairies - Love

Hello everyone :o)

Our new challenge at Crafty Little Fairies is 'love'... it doesn't have to be Valentines, just for someone you love, or a love theme (weddings, etc).  We're sponsored by The Ribbon Girl this week.

My card is actually for my Mum, as it's her birthday tomorrow... hopefully I'm safe showing it now, as it's very rare Mum uses the internet - she often gets me to order stuff for her and it's pointless emailing her anything because she never checks her messages.  Of course, today she'll probably decide to have a quick look at my blog lol!

I still need to add 'Mum' to it, and I'm not sure why the heart looks red - it's the same pink as the papers really.

Items Used
Shaped base - cut with Nestabilities Grand Labels 1
Stamp - James Big Heart - LOTV
Colouring - copics
Papers - Perfect Pair - LOTV
Sentiment tag stamps - LOTV
La La Land Heart Banner die
Whimsy corner die
Seam Binding - Craft Mojo
Lace & flowers - The Ribbon Girl
Pearl from my stash

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
LOTV Monthly - name that tune (A Good Heart - Feargal Sharkey)
Papertake Weekly - anything goes (+ optional shaped card)
Craft Room - ribbon & lace
Divas by Design - die cuts
Simon Says - have a heart

I'm feeling a bit better today... and the sun is shining, although it's still cold, so I'm much happier too!  Hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Murphy & Paper - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone :o)

I've used one of the older DigiStamp Boutique images for today's card - this is Murphy, and I've coloured him to (hopefully!) look a bit like a Westie... one of my mum's requests.

Don't look too closely at my colouring - I can just about manage a basic fur effect if the animal is an actual colour... I didn't really know where to start with white fur!

Items Used
Digi stamp - Murphy Set 1 - DigiStamp Boutique
Colouring - copics & prisma pencils
Papers - Bo Bunny Isabelle
Core'dinations So Mod Assortment
Sentiment stamp - LOTV
Spellbinders Labels 14 dies
La La Land Flag Banner die

X-cut butterfly punch

Off for a catch up with some of your blogs... Hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Without Words - Working 9 to 5

Hello everyone :o)

It's time for a new challenge at Without Words, and this month our theme is 'working 9 to 5'... so we'd like to see occupations.  Our sponsor is the fabulous Quixotic Paperie.

This challenge gave me the perfect excuse to use my favourite man Alf again...

This card is a little bit bigger than my usual ones at 7" square, although I've bought 7" envelopes so I'll probably make this size more often from now on.

Items Used
White linen, plain yellow & black card - Papermill Direct
Digi stamp - DIY Alf - DigiStamp Boutique
Sentiment - Simply Birthday Greetings male - DigiStamp Boutique
Colouring - copics
Papers - MME (old ones)
Starburst die - Joanna Sheen

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

Polly Loves Perfume - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, using a fabulous girlie from Stamping Bella...

I've coloured her with copics - badly, because my copics are misbehaving again.  The fab sentiment is from a set by Jane's Doodles - they're new in from Australia, and Craft Mojo is currently the only UK stockist... they stamp beautifully and I love them!

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Simon Says - anything goes with twine or string
Craft-Dee Bowz - anything goes with a handmade bow

I'm trying out a new (to me) way of adding product links... hopefully it will eventually save me time when I've added more products and got used to how it works - it took me ages today though lol!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)
