Thanks for all your lovely messages about my poorly old cat... He's a bit brighter today, managed a drink and a tiny bit of food... only if I stand there with the bowl under his nose though lol!  We've been back to the vets this afternoon and are now loaded up with various tablets, stuff to syringe into him, special food... £120 spent so far - ouch!  Back again next week to see how he's doing, if he's not much better he'll need blood tests and x-rays... We're getting Boris (the kitten) insured before he starts being expensive I think!

Bumble Bee - Sugar Nellie DT

Hello everyone :o)

It's my day to post on the Sugar Nellie blog today... luckily I scheduled my post there, but I'm a bit late posting here due to being in a bit of a flap about our cat - the 'old' one, not the kitten.  We thought he'd been bumped by a car as his left side seems to be giving him a lot of pain and he doesn't want to move at all, but the vet thinks it's just a really nasty infection... he's not eaten or drunk anything since yesterday morning poor thing.  Back at the vets with him tomorrow, and hopefully he'll have picked up a bit with the injections he's been given.

Anyway, enough waffle... here's my card at last!

Less is More - opposite colours

Ok... so I've made a card for this week's challenge at Less is More... but it's very silly, sorry!

This week Chrissie and Jen would like to see opposite colours of the colour wheel.

I chose blue and orange, because I'd bought the new Memory Box fish dies and thought they might work quite well.  I cut 3 apertures with my Stampin' Up square punch, added some tiny blue pearls for eyes and a LOTV tag sentiment - I masked the 'w' and replaced it with an 'f'... It made hubby laugh, but he is very easily amused!

We had a great time in Filey yesterday, apart from getting stuck in traffic for ages on the way... Had yummy fish and chips (well you've got to, haven't you?!) but I resisted ice cream seen as I'm supposed to be dieting... We did lots of walking so hopefully that worked some of it off lol.  Wasn't it gorgeous weather all day?!

Sweet Stampin' - create a scene!

Sooo... I was really struggling with this one!  None of my ideas were working out, and then I noticed Paula's announcement that Pollycraft was reopening... went to have a nosey in her new-look shop, and she had a great background scene that I thought I could put together with an image I bought (and hadn't used yet) when she was closing Pollycraft almost a year ago.  I'm still not very happy with my card, but it's not as bad as my other attempts lol!
