Our challenge at
Sweet Stampin' this week is to 'use your favourite stamp'... eek, impossible to choose! We're sponsored by
Letraset who have a set of pens for one lucky winner and
Joanna Sheen is our monthly sponsor with a £10 voucher prize.
Well, I couldn't choose between all the 'cute' stamps, so I thought I'd use one of my most used silhouette stamps instead....
This is a Hero Arts stamp called 'blooming meadow', and I've used my favourite technique again - I can't remember which colours I used (apart from the purple, which is 'seedless preserves' from the Autumn limited edition distress inks), but I just inked up the stamp with the lightest colour, dabbed on the other colours randomly, then sprayed the stamp with water before stamping.
The papers are from
Raspberry Rd, printed onto linen card from Papermill Direct, purple card is core'dinations. The sentiment tag is stamped and cut out, but I'm not sure what the make is. Whimsy corner dies and seam binding (dyed with 'seedless preserves' distress ink) are from
The Stamp Basket, pearls and card candy from my stash.
I'm really sorry if I haven't managed to visit you for a couple of days, I've got a horrible rattly cough and sore throat and I'm just wiped out... it would've been nice if we could all be well for the Jubilee weekend, and I could really do with getting some crafting and commenting done. Don't these yucky bugs know I don't have time to be ill?!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend :o)
