At sea....

Hello :o)

I wanted to play along with this week's Less is More challenge, even though it's the dreaded 'one-layer' week... and the theme is 'at sea'... ummm.... ummm...

Ok, so I might be pushing the theme a bit, but that could be the sea that he's fishing in, couldn't it?

I don't usually enjoy making one-layer cards, but I have to admit, I did have fun with this one!  Lots of masking, inky splodging, flicking water and ink, spraying shimmery stuff... which doesn't show up in the main photo so here's a little close up that sort of shows it.

The only problem is, there are now smudges of ink on the back of the card, as it's just about impossible to be neat and tidy with that much ink flying around!

Items Used
Stamp - Kids at Play - Flourishes
Sentiment stamp - Penny Black
Distress Inks - Shabby Shutters & Faded Jeans
Stampin' Up Ink - Night of Navy
Heidi Swapp Colour Shine Spray - Sea Foam
Paper Smooches Stitched dies
Plus water (and drops of night of navy ink) flicked off a paintbrush!

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely day :o)

Gorgeous Lisa and I so know what you mean about the inky smudges on the back. It's really tricky to not have that when getting all inky. Gorgeous card design. Love the way you've masked the edges and the sweet stamp and sentiment. Gorgeous. Hugs, Wends x
