Fairy Birthday & a little candy

Hello... I'm back with my Sugar Nellie DT card, and my second play with distress ink markers.  If you scroll down to the post before this one, you can see my first attempt, which I was much happier with.  This one was perhaps a bit over ambitious lol!

I've used another of those pretty ScrapBerry's girlies - this one is called Fairy Birthday.  And I have another of the stamps to give away - the set below, which is called Little Sister... so just add your name to the linky if you'd like to win her.  Like last week, I'm only leaving it open until tomorrow evening.

Off for a little catch up with your blogs... Hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Hi Lisa Thanks for the chance to win this fab stamp. I use distress ink pens quite often it took me a while to get away with it I found once I bought a decent paint brush and quality watercolour card it did help I also put them on a splodge mat first helps with blending. Keep practising as these are brilliant for first attempts I love that bear he's gorgeous. Love and Happy Crafting hugs Carole x

I haven't entered as you know. I bought them, have yet to colour this up. Your colouring is pretty but not as much shading as when you use Copics but it all takes practice. Cute card though x

I think you've done a pretty great job with this cute image too! The markers are so different from your pens that you're bound not to feel as confident with the look achieved but you'll get there. Thank you for the giveaway it's always a lovely thing to do. Debra x

Such a gorgeous card Lisa! And for the chance to win that gorgeous stamp!

Well she's different to James, but looks fab. The fussy images are so much harder to watercolour as there's not much room to get the shading right. (well that's my excuse anyway!). She's really pretty and you've got her wings looking really transparent. The watercolour really suits her, pale and soft. The new fairy images are adorable and I may have to splash out on a few, although I have so much uninked rubber ... still, that's never stopped me buying more before, so why change the habit of a crafty lifetime! :0)
