Less is More - makes me smile!

Happy Easter!  Hope you're having a lovely day.  The boys have had great fun finding their eggs, although Dex said the Easter bunny hadn't hidden them very well lol... better try harder next year then!

I didn't play last week at Less is More, as it was one-layer week, and I have to admit I just don't really like my one-layer cards... I've made them enough times to get used to it, so they're not as tricky as they once were, but I've realised I don't like them enough to ever use them, unless I end up cutting the front off and popping it up on another card.  Anyway, after all that waffle!... I'm going to do my best to play along with all the other challenges, and this week's is a fun one - it's 'makes me smile', so anything that makes you happy really.

I've used some new Lil' Inkers dies that I bought from Simon Says Stamp... it always feels like a big treat having an occasional little delivery from the US.  All those stitched edges make me very happy, and at the moment I love any dies that I can piece back together as I have with this one.  It means that the sentiment can then be stamped directly over the die cuts... and it turned out pretty much exactly as I planned, which always makes me smile!

Items Used
White linen cardstock - Papermill Direct
Lil' Inkers Stitched Butterflies - Simon Says Stamp
Stitched square - MFT Die-namics Blueprints 14 - Craft Mojo
Doodlebug Textured Cardstock Assortment - Craft Mojo
Spotty paper - Doodlebug Kraft in Colour - Craft Mojo
Doodlebug Enamel Sprinkles in Beetle Black & Lilac - Craft Mojo
Sentiment stamp - Jane's Doodles Party Time - Craft Mojo

I'm also entering my card for the following challenges
Simon Says - animal antics (includes insects, etc)

Hope you all have a lovely day... don't eat too much chocolate... actually, ignore me - eat as much chocolate as you like, I will be later :o)

It's lovely Lisa. I love the dies, and know what you mean about the packages from across the pond. :0)

Glad the boys had fun finding their eggs, although it's shame they found them all, as you could have picked up any left over!

Have a lovely Easter Sunday with your family.

Gorgeous card Lisa as always. I love butterflies.
Glad your boys enjoyed the hunt. We had an Easter Egg hunt in the garden of the house we were staying in over Easter, unfortunately I can't remember where I put one of them, searched everywhere but to no avail! Mind you the garden was huge!! And there were 15 eggs to hide (small ones)

I'm really like the pieced back together look that people are doing with dies today. You definitely have to have the right kind of dies to do it with though. I love that these dies give you the option of having the stitching on both the inside and the outside of the hole!
