Here's one I forgot I made earlier!

I think I'm going to spend today trying to get to grips with the Cricut... it's driving me a bit potty at the moment lol!  I'm finding some cardstock just doesn't want to cut, even though it doesn't seem that thick and I have the blade set at 6.  It won't get the better of me though, I can just see quite a lot of cardstock getting wasted while I learn how to use it properly.

So, as I probably won't have anything new to share today, I thought I'd show a card I made with one of Little Claire's new stamps a month or so ago... I've found a few pics that I forgot to blog when I showed my other samples.  This one's a really simple 5 x 7" card, the lovely Georgia image is coloured with promarkers, papers are K&Co with red cardstock from my stash.  The cork-centred flower was bought in a sale ages ago - I've not got many left now and wish I'd bought more at the time!

Off to change stinky Dex - he just told me 'I'm sorry mummy, I smell' lol... he's still flatly refusing to use the potty or his very fetching bright pink loo seat that he chose, stubborn little monkey!

Sweet image Lisa. Love the gingham papers. Good luck with that potty training....it's a nightmare isn't it. Ben has skipped the potty (he just screams if I sit him on it) and will do a poo on the loo instead, as long as I hold him on there. Otherwise he just runs off! Lol xx Jenny xx

What a really charming card, I love it :o)
I was the same when I first got my Cricut (4 years ago) but I found that if I cut on a slower speed it cut a lot better. Have fun learning, I did :o)

Hi Lisa, If you tell it to cut more than once it will go over it again without taking the paper out. If that doesn't work set it to 3 times to cut and slow down the speed. Hope that helps! "Hugs" Carol

Oh almost forgot to tell you that the card is adorable. Now don't be forgetting to post those cuties next time...LOL

Gorgeous card Lisa, love the colours and that fabby flower. Wonder what will come first - Dex mastering the potty or you mastering the Cricut, lol!! I've had mine about 2 years (Cricut, that is!) and still can't use it properly. x

Hi Lisa, we all have the same problems with the Cricut, you never know how deep the blade needs to be, Ive even had to cut twice to get it to cut through, anyway good luck love, keep at it.
Poor Dex its not much fun getting them clean, my girls actually used a potty chair that they could sit back on, they didnt like the pot as it would tip when they tried to sit on it, and the toilet was just a bit to big for them. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxxx

Great card! I am a big fan of this particular stamp too, and I love the colours that you have used on this example.

Good luck with the Cricut - I am having similar problems so if you come up with an answer, please let me know!

Great card, love the layout!
I have the same trouble with the Craft Robo....it will only cut a certain thickness too which is really irritating. Got to admit I really don't use it much now and I haven't even had it a year! Wish i'd got a cricut!
