A new favourite...

I always thought you either 'did' Tilda or you didn't, and I didn't really... I liked her but didn't think she was really me.  However, when I did my demo on Saturday, I spent some time colouring Tildas and had such fun colouring that I had to buy one... and I've been back today and bought another one too lol!  She's just so lovely to colour.  I'm still not sure I've got that many people I can send them to, or that my customers will be keen on them, but we'll see!

I've made this one for my MIL, who luckily is very easy to please and is always very enthusiastic about my cards, so hopefully she'll like this.  I've coloured Tilda with promarkers and then added my usual shading with koh-i-noor pencils blended with sansador, and some stickles for a bit of sparkle.  The papers are from the Brenda Walton K&Co girl pad, with cardstock from my stash.  Circles cut with plain circle nesties and scalloped Go Kreate dies.  Flowers, gems and lace from my stash.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

Im loving your zingy new blog layout (im probably the last one to comment, so sorry :/ )
Your colouring on this card is exceptional Lisa< that dark shading around the image works so well. I think you may be starting a trend with that now!

I know exactly what you mean about tildas, I used to think that they are a bit like Marmite too! I think they are ok but just wish they had a tiny mouth on them!! My daughter (perhaps I shouldnt go public with this?!) thinks they look like abused children, oooh dear, do you think it was something I did with my parenting style?!

Adorable Lisa! Fabulous job you did here and don't worry, I really don't know why but for some reason all of us blogger love Tildas! ?????? I just can't figure it out! Seriously, like do they put MSG in the rubber over there or something. You just watch how many comments you get on your Magnolia cards too! Very strange phenomenon!

Love the card Lisa, great work. Could you put a tutorial up sometime as to how you coloured her? I use Promarkers but never get the finish you so. Also could you go through the kohinoor pencils as I have never come across these before. Also, I have something for you on my blog - see todays post x
