Eat cake - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I've made a little CAS creation for my Craft Mojo DT post today... although I faffed around with it for ages, so although it's simple it wasn't particularly quick!

The cakes, sentiment and  banner stamps are all from the Jane's Doodles Party Time set, and the little 'bows' on the banner are actually upturned leaves from the Doodle Flowers set!  I added one of my new favourites, the Wink of Stella brush marker, for a bit of shimmer on the cakes, and some Doodlebug Sprinkles to finish it off.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Creative Card Crew - Keep it Simple & Sweet
Jellypark - chocolate and/ or cake
Cute Card Thursday - clever cutting (banners stamped & cut out)
Everybody Art - party time

Off to catch up with some of your blogs... Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

Cuthbert Cupid - hubby's valentine's card

Hello again!  I'm back with my 2nd post for today - my Valentine's card for Pav, using an adorable new image from Little Miss Muffet... this is Cuthbert Cupid...

As Pav gets to see most of my cards, it's nice to use something new for his card... and I'm very lucky that he doesn't have a problem with all things cute lol.  I used greys to colour Cuthbert, as I was waiting for my replacement brown copics to arrive, and I think he looks sweet in grey!

As usual, we said we weren't bothering with presents, and as usual I came downstairs to find all sorts of little goodies left for me... flowers, chocolates, a heart cushion and heart coasters lol... Next year I'm going to ignore him and buy presents so I don't feel guilty!  We'll be ordering a takeaway tonight and then curling up in front of the telly with a bottle of bubbly... boring aren't we?!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

I seem to be using red cardstock as if it's a neutral at the moment... getting through loads of the stuff, but I do quite like it!

Dudley Balloon - Little Miss Muffet DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for Little Miss Muffet, using Dudley Balloon - one of the fab new releases... There are all sorts of special offers and other fabness (oh come on, surely that must be a real word...) to celebrate Little Miss Muffet's birthday - have a look at this post for all the info.

Dudley ended up a lot darker than I wanted him really - my YG copics are all running out, and the lightest one completely ran out just as I started colouring this in.  Yesterday 2 brown ones ran out... it's an expensive business, this colouring lark!
