Flying Frog - The Stamp Basket DT card

It's not actually 'my day' for posting on The Stamp Basket Blog, that's Thursday, but I made an extra card because I couldn't wait to use this stamp, she's so cute!

For once, I'm actually quite happy with my card, and despite my still yucky cold (when will it go?!) I had lots of fun making it :o)

This is a Nellie Snellen stamp called 'Sweet Elin - flying frog' from The Stamp Basket - it looks like this one is out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure Janet will have some more in soon.  I've coloured her mainly with flexmarkers, I'm starting to get the hang of them now... just added a promarker or two where I needed extra shades, no pencils this time.  I was debating doing one of my cloudy sky scenes, but then I thought I'd try the dotty effect around her - Coops style, hope you don't mind hun!  I also added a bit of shimmer with a Sakura clear stardust pen.

The papers are digi ones from Pink Petticoat, printed onto linen card, with textured red cardstock from Papermill Direct.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up, border was cut with my MFT die - yes, again.  The fab spotty button and red twine are from The Stamp Basket.
