I've finally managed to make a quick card for this week's Less is More challenge, which is 'stars'. This should have been SO easy for me, because I love using stars, but for some reason I couldn't come up with much - although I bet next week I won't be able to think of anything that doesn't involve stars lol.
I decided to use my fun little giraffe stamp, as he's holding a star shaped balloon. The last time I used my balloon animals I couldn't remember where I got them - I've remembered now, they were from Dies to Die For here. A couple of people said they would have liked to get their own set so hopefully this will help anyone who still wants them. I've coloured the giraffe with koh-i-noor pencils on Stampin' Up kraft card, and added some stickles on his balloon. The sentiment is also Stampin' Up and the buttons are Papermania.
Thank you for all your lovely comments yesterday on my first DT card for The Stamp Basket and for all the get well wishes... I'm still feeling dreadful but it's only a cold so fingers crossed I'll start feeling better soon - my poor bright red sore nose can't take much more lol.
Wow, what a stunning cas, lim card. Love the stamp and n see why people wanted to get one.

ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, now you know you're not helping my stamp diet at all here! That is such a cute image made into a really sweet card. I am a regular haunter of Tracys shop and can remember seeing the stamp set - but didn't get it as I couldn't imagine them inked. I think that has just changed, but can I justify the purchase? Hhhhmmmm, probably!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you aren't well - a hot toddy was what my nan always recommended for a streaming cold.
