I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Sketch Saturday - fab sketch
We took Boris (the cat) to the vets this morning for his booster vaccination... the vet checked him over and pronounced him fit and well, but as we've not wormed him for a while he offered to give him the tablet there. He got one of those silly pill popper gadgets and Boris wasn't having any of it! He managed to get the pill in his mouth a couple of times but it didn't stay there long, and even when he wrapped him in a towel he still managed to escape lol... so we've ended up bringing a tablet home with us - I will be doing battle later, wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteWe got a 2nd reminder noticed from the vet for Poppy the cat. I don't like to bring her in because she's fat and I hear about it. We have a theory that she cooks her own high fat elaborate meals while we are at work, but since she cleans up after it's okay. Anyway, she never appears to eat much.
Hahah, love the vet story, and also the comment above from Judy, our little feline girlie is a bit on the tubby side too, but we can't figure out why. I think they must all be getting together for a bake-off while we're all out!! Good luck with the pill.

ReplyDeleteDon't envy you getting a tablet down Boris. We've three cats and can't get pills down them but the vet seems to have the knack to do it. Luckily they're indoor cats so don't need worming as often. Do tell if you find out a fool-proof way with Boris' pill. Good luck!! Debra x

gorgeous card Lisa - fab fun colours - good luck with the worming tablet - i can't get mischief to take hers - I have to use a spot on wormer! When she was a kitten I used to hide the tablets in lumps of cheese but she got wise very soon! Good luck xx

ReplyDeleteI really don't envy you trying to get the tablet down a cat who is having none of it. I have been there so many times with our cat. I now give him Advantage wormer and flea prevention in one so no more scratched hands.
