Birthday dreams...

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

Today's creation is just a quick one, as I felt like playing with those lovely Isabelline papers from Pink Petticoat again, and they look great on fairly CAS cards.

The yellow is a much prettier shade than the photo shows really, but as usual trying to make all the white look white has altered the other colours.

White linen cardstock - Papermill Direct
Digi papers - Isabelline - Pink Petticoat
Butterfly die - Xcut (I think)
Sparkly card - Stampin' Up
Sentiment - Penny Black
(stamped in Memento 'Grey Flannel' ink)
Pearls from my stash

I'm all on my own for most of this weekend... well, apart from the kids of course!  Hubby's staying in Donington for the Gatecrasher 20th birthday thing, which is what happens when you marry someone a wee bit younger and they have appalling taste in music lol.  So it's an evening of X Factor, pizza and comfy pyjamas for me... there would've been wine too, but I've just realised we've not got any!

    I love these papers Lisa and the butterfly is so gorgeously glittery all the better for being on a CAS card.
    Your evening sounds lovely though I may have been tempted to do out and get some wine!!!

    This paper is beautiful, I like its colors and its retro, yet elegant, look. The sentiment and butterfly are both so decoartive, and this CAS card definitely doesn't need anything more.
