Tattered floral & Isabelline

Hello... I wasn't really meaning to blog this card today, but I haven't quite got round to taking photos of anything else... oops!

This is a bit different for me, because I DO NOT TEAR PAPER!!!  I saw a similar card in a magazine though, and just couldn't resist having a go.

Items Used
Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die
Digi papers - Isabelline - Pink Petticoat
(printed on linen card from Papermill Direct)
Sparkle & Shine (sprayed on the flower) - Crafter's Companion
Large pearl - Bo Bunny Isabella Jewels - MCH
Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap

I'm entering my card for the Tattered Floral challenge on Tim Holtz's blog.

**Enter my candy here**

I'm having a very happy, if busy, week in my craft room - just struggling a bit to fit in blogging... Oh, and I had all my hair cut off too, which always cheers me up... I've now got a very short bob, and I dyed it red too :o)  Just what I needed after all these nasty bugs, which are hopefully going to leave us alone for a while now!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  12. Oooh love this one Lisa! Gorgeous flower and wonderful colour combo.

I have to admit to not tearing paper very often at all! The urge does take me sometimes, but I try (and usually succeed) to ignore it!! Feels wrong, somehow, to go ripping up paper.

Hope you have a good weekend - oooh and would love to see a pic of the new hair.

This is stunning Lisa! I do tear paper, but it has to be an even type tear - I know it's the OCD in me but I can't just tear a piece without a ruler lol! Really gorgeous creation and well done for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone! Karen x
