Sweet Stampin' - fairies and angels

Time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin' and this week we'd like to see 'fairies and angels'.  We're sponsored by Emerald Faeries who are offering one lucky winner 2 images of their choice, and our monthly sponsor is Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10 voucher for her fab online store.

Ok, so I really wanted to use these new Stampin' Up dies, but it was only when I'd nearly finished my card that I realised it wasn't actually going to stand up... oops!  So I'll have to make this one into an easel card later.  I still love the shape though!  I've used a sweet Emerald Faerie image, coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers and added my little Viva pearl dots. I've just realised I made a mistake with the colouring too - look at her tights!  How did I not notice that before?  The gorgeous spotty paper is a digi one from Raspberry Rd, printed onto linen card.  The sentiment is from one of the new LOTV sets, cut out with nestie oval dies, and the butterfly was cut with a Kars punch.

It all looks slightly wonky in the photo, but it's not - it's because I had to prop it against something to take the photo.... really there's no hope for some people you know!

I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

Well we didn't get our day in the park yesterday, didn't really get the weather for it.  So we went to one of the local soft play centres instead, and mummy got to sit drinking hot chocolate and reading the kindle while the boys ran riot ;o)

    I think this card is just lovely and those tiny little pearls look just like raindrops. Don't worry about the tights - it looks like she has short leggings on under her dress, which is right on trend in fairyland!

    Beautiful Lisa, I love the pearls, they set the picture off perfectly. Colouring is brilliant - didn't notice anything wrong till you said!!!

    This is gorgeous, have you tried slicing a small strip off the bottom of the back of the card to make it stand up???

    I so NEED that image!! Does she come in rubber? You do make me laugh hun, I thought it was just me to do silly things like that - but, standing straight or not, this is simply adorable, and I love the duel colour tights! And you have made me spend my pennies again too ...... Hugs Sxx

    Oh! Lisa...it is a beautiful card..I stare at cards for quite awhile...and never noticed a thing out of place until you told me...love the wee pearls, so beautiful and delicate..gorgeous colouring,did I tell you I love the pearls...gorgeous..wonderful card.

    I am sure no one would have noticed the tights if you hadn't mentioned them .. .. and as for the shape of the card .. .. well I never considered it not standing up as I was so impressed with everything else.

    Hi Lisa, another gorgeous creation - would it stand up if you added a little piece of card to the back for it to rest on? A bit like the style with school pics, if you see what I mean?

    I didn't notice the tights either - I was too busy thinking how well it was coloured and loving the pink of the mushroom!

    I also was kicking myself as I did a LoTV order earlier this month (my treat!) and didn't get the sentiments - thought naw won't bother with those, wish I had now!!!
