Hello everyone :o)
Thought I'd post a few photos of the new craft room, for anyone who'd like a peek at it... it was harder than I expected getting decent photos of a room though (I'd be a rubbish estate agent, eh?!).
There's a few things still to be finished, and loads still to be moved in, but I can finally craft in it, so I'm happy!
Can anyone recommend a good guillotine? I really need to replace mine... the blade falls randomly and is going to chop my fingers off one day very soon lol.
Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)
Wow!!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!! You lucky, lucky, lucky lady....I mean family :)
ReplyDeleteWOWzer....Chester likes it then. Love it....what a fantastic space...worth the wait huh xx

Oh, this looks fab, Lisa - I'm so jealous as I look at my stuff piled up in a corner of the kitchen! I'm needing new guillotine, too as mine doesn't cut straight now. Jennifer McGuire has commented that she loves the Tim Holtz one, but I haven't found anyone who sells it over here yet! xx
ReplyDeleteOhhhh it's stunning honey! Luv luv luv it xx
ReplyDeleteLooks great and I love all the white hope you have loads of fun in your new room. (I live in Sheffield too)

It looks FAB Lisa. I'm very jealous. Love Chester in the pics too. I look forward to seeing what you create in it. Have fun. xx
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I'm mega jealous of your beautiful craft room...and your beautiful craft room dog :). I have to share my crafting space with a chest freezer and a tumble drier so it's all pretty cramped. I would love to be able to get units right across at least one wall which would go a long way to solving a lot of my storage problems. You are one very lucky crafter, Lisa. I know you'll have hours of fun in there.

Wow your room looks beautiful Lisa, bright and airy with plenty of room for your stash. A well deserved crafty space after waiting so long for it to be finished. I see Chester has made himself at home too :)

Awwwwwwww now that is not nice Lisa :(.............. down in the mouth is what I really am. I keep buying units to store 'stuff' It's taking over my dining and living rooms. Oh to go back about 3 years and just have something like that in my dining room in an ash finish.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy making me so miserable :(

ps. I loved my crafter's companion one that cuts 18' card but after 2 years it now 'chews' the edges a little (must disconnect the blade and take it in to be sharpened) have had the Tonic 8' for about a year and it's brilliant, so got the Tonic 12' the other day... fabulous 'crunch' sound when cutting.
pps Hope you have many happy hours of crafting in there, you deserve it :):):)
Gorgeous room Lisa, I wonder how long it will stay so tidy, if it was mine it would be messy already lol. Hugs, Amanda x
ReplyDeleteA beautiful craft room Lisa and I bet you look forward to every opportunity to craft.

ReplyDeleteWow! Wow! Wow! What a fantastic craft room. You've got so much storage and workspace. I'm envious of your card cubby holes, I didn't have room in mine for some. Have a fabulous crafty time in your bit of crafty heaven.
ReplyDeleteSorry about deleting the one above, I'm obviously not awake yet. Debra x
Gorgeous! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOooo it was so worth the wait and you must be so relieved that it's finally over, now enjoy playing in it, luv Sam x
ReplyDeleteOoh yay yay yay! That is fabulous Lisa!! It looks so fresh and organised. A perfect canvas and backdrop for some creative magic. Enjoy it hun, it's so lovely you finally have it finished! Hugs, Wends x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous new craft room! I am just about to start mine, eek! The best guillotines for me are by Tonic; I have the smaller one for everyday cutting and the A4 one for big cuts. Ive had others for the big one but changed it to Tonic as my blades would wobble too. The best price at the time was on Amazon so have a look as I got it for @ £22 which is amazing for the big one. Keryn
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely especially once you have all your bits in there. I bought a trimmer from Clas Ohlsen and it is the best one ever. I have had it at least two years and haven't replaced the blade yet.
ReplyDeleteYou lucky girl this is beautiful and such a lot of space how long will it take to fill the shelves !! enjoy it its lovely love and hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteWhat a a great room, Lisa!! If you're anything like me you THOUGHT you had loads of stuff... then you get a craft room with lots of storage and the accumulating REALLY starts, lol. I'm really just saying that because my craft room doesn't look nice and tidy like yours any more, you may be able to control yourself better!! Chester is gorgeous btw :-) Donna xx
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wonderful room you have there! I love your white and light theme, and your storage solutions have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteWow its looks fabulous Lisa, so organised and great bright lighting.
ReplyDeleteMy fav guillotine brand is xcut, I am on my 2nd one now, they last really well.
