I cut the flower from some fabric my mum brought me - she works for a small family-owned company making window blinds (she does all the stitching, which is quite funny when you consider that I still haven't got to grips with my sewing machine after about 4yrs of owning it...), and they let her bring me the leftover pieces of fabric and trim. She's also brought me a load of thick tubes that the fabric comes on, and I'm going to make them into copic storage... but that's a project for another day. Anyway, the point to all my waffle is, the fabric is quite thick and the dies cut through it no problem... I'll be cutting more of these!
We drove to Elvaston Castle country park today and had a lovely walk... it was soooo hot though, and Dex complained a bit... quite a lot really lol, although an ice cream helped to cheer him up for a while, until he got stones in his sandals, and then Daddy dropped him while trying to sort out said sandals... sigh!
Thanks for popping in... hope you have a lovely evening :o)
Your story brings back happy memories of family outings when my daughters were little.

Love this design Lisa... and yep I love that flower too! I bought some material similar when I was in Hebden Bridge last.. twas a hat makers shop and she was selling bags of bits that looked really interesting and I thought i could use with flower dies... needless to say, it's still 'somewhere' in my craft room! I love the idea of your tube copic storage too... can just imagine it!
