A Forever Friends card and a couple of holiday pics...

Hello everyone :o)

Here's a simple little Forever Friends card... I bought one of the decoupage sets ages ago, and then never got round to using any of it - very typical for me!

The decoupage, papers and sentiment are all from the Kraft Notes range, and I just added stickles, gems and used MFT die-namics 'by the letters' dies for the lettering.

And some photos of our boys enjoying their surprise weekend away...

It was just a couple of nights at Butlins, but we had a great time... We packed up the car the night before and told the boys we were going out for the day.  Dex doesn't really remember the last time we went there, as he was only little, but the look on Morgan's face when he saw the Butlins sign and realised we were staying!  He nearly made me cry, he was so excited!

Will start trying to catch up with some of your blogs tonight... Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  11. Hi Lisa, that's such a cute card - I do that all the time, buy something and put it away then forget about it!! I'm still finding things from when I first started crafting - now I don't like them!!!

Looks your boys (and you?) had a lovely time - do I spot a Skeggy sign there? If so you were just down the road from me!

PS - Best of luck with the worming tablet - it's a battle with ours, apart from the stray we took in, she eats them like sweets!!!

  19. Lovely card, Lisa! I have stamps that have yet to see ink and ribbon that has yet to be unwrapped! Buying and storing stuff is as much part of the hobby as actual crafting I think!!
Fab holiday pics! Sunshine and smiles what more could you ask for!! :) XX

  20. Like you Lisa I've got lots and lots of craft stuff I've not used which my hubby keeps trying to persuade me to get rid of it. Never!
Love your card! Actually seeing you use the Kraft Notes paper before persuaded me to get some.
What gorgeous lads you've got and they look like they're having a fabulous time. These are the best times for making happy memories to treasure. Debra x

  23. Glad you had a lovely weekend, love the story about Morgan's reaction! What a great surprise.

Fab card too, but I'm the same, I buy things and then forget I've got them. Unfortunately when I re-find them, I usually wonder what on earth I was thinking as it's not something I can now think of using!
