Happy Saturday everyone :o)
I've used a gorgeous Stamping Bella stamp for today's Craft Mojo DT card... that fab sentiment comes with her too.
I made this one for a lovely friend who was 40 recently - the '40th' sentiment was made up using a mix of the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler and Alphadot sets... perfect for making up your own sentiments, and such a fun font too.
I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Totally Papercrafts - think pink
Allsorts - use those dies
Inky Impressions - humour
Copic Marker Europe - birthday
Nutcrafters - pink & brown
I've been trying to talk Dex into a little visit to the park today, seen as it's nice and sunny out at the moment, but I think he must still be feeling a bit off as he says he wants to stay in... we've been doing Mr Men jigsaws and apparently he wants to make a robot... hmm, wonder if I can leave that bit to Pav lol.
Hope you all have a lovely day :o)
Hope you all have a lovely day :o)
What a fab card Lisa. I need that stamp if only for the sentiment which is SO true. Love it!!

PS could you not get away with the "it's mother's day weekend I don't want to make a robot you do it dear"......
Lovely image and colouring (just my colours too, strawberry and chocolate!). And that sentiment is perfect. Love the phrase too. I often close my eyes eating chocolate so that's a whole lot of calories that shouldn't go to my hips, huh!
ReplyDeleteHmmm!
Have a great day hun, hope you get to the park. I'm not sure about the robot idea, but I'm sure it'll be more a 'father-son' task if you ask me!
Hugs
Annette

Fabulous card Lisa and I just love that image sooooo much...xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, fun card Lisa. Lovely colours and layout. A bit of fresh air would do Dex good if you could persuade him and maybe get you out of robot duty, lol.

Such gorgeous colours and oh, how I wish the sentiment was true! Btw, bang goes my promise to myself to cut back on my craft spending; have ordered pierced rectangles from Lil Inkers and got the circles, too! The circles pierce the die cut and the negative and the largest die in the squares set makes a border on your card. Definitely no more craft shopping for a while now! Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the image and the pink and brown colour scheme - such a stylish card.

Checking in from my holiday in the sun to catch up on some of your latest work, so much sweetness and lovely cards to see over at your blog!
ReplyDeleteLove these long legged girls from stamping Bella, this is the first time I've seen this one. Such a great choice for a young spirited 40 year old! Love the chocolate and strawberry colors for this design!
This card looks good enough to eat with its scrumptious colors. It is such a fun design. And such words of wisdom on the front.
ReplyDeleteSo odd.... I got a notification in my email that my message to you (the above comment) couldn't be sent. Yet I didn't send it as an email but a comment on a blog. The world just got weird!
