Heart Parade

Hello everyone :o)

A couple of new Simon Says Stamp dies arrived on Friday, and I just couldn't wait to use this one...

I cut it in white 4 times and layered them together, then once in red so I could fill in some of the hearts.
It's a very simple card, but it's one of those 'makes me happy' creations!

Items Used
White linen & plain red cardstock - Papermill Direct
Digi sentiment - Pink Petticoat
Heart Parade die - Simon Says Stamp

Addicted to CAS - new (the die, 2nd entry)
Dream Valley - no designer paper
Simply Create Too - Valentine's or use hearts (2nd entry)

Hubby's put a new shelf up in the craft room today, so I've been moving things around a bit - it's amazing how quickly new storage fills up!... Just hoping the shelf stays on the wall, as he doesn't really do the DIY thing... although, to be fair, neither do I!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  4. Gorgeous Lisa - really gorgeous!!

If you don't mind, I might 'borrow' that idea for a card for hubby.

You can never have enough storage, even when you 'think' you've got enough - you still need more!

  26. Hmmm maybe another die for my wish list (which gets longer everytime I visit your blog btw...)..

Gorgeous CAS design and fab card Lisa... and I hope your shelf does stay up... my lovely OH put one up for me a couple of weeks ago and it's still there... and he's very similar in the 'don't do DIY!'!! LOL

  28. Here's hoping the shelf doesn't come crashing down!!! I did a big clean/reorganization of my room in the fall and immediately got rid of the empty bins I made so I wouldn't be tempted to fill them again. Of course, probably I'll need new bins soon. I really like how you layered multiples of that die for dimension. It really does something nifty.
