Sweet Stampin' - Shabby Chic

Hello again :o)

If you're here for the Sugar Nellie hop please scroll down or click here.

I'm back with my DT card for Sweet Stampin', where our challenge for this week is 'shabby chic'... probably about as far from my style (whatever that is) as it's possible to go!  I had fun but I've no idea whether what I've made really is shabby chic lol.  We're sponsored by Bunny Zoe's and our monthly sponsor is The Ribbon Girl.

I've been playing with my new Frantage, although it's impossible to show you just how pretty and sparkly it really looks... and I've definitely added a bit too much, but it's only my first attempt.

Items Used
White linen cardstock - Papermill Direct
Frantage in Shabby White & Shabby Pink - MCH
Prima Tea Thyme papers - MCH
Stamp - Butterfly Flourish - Inkylicious
(embossed in white detail)
Pearls from my stash

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
In The Pink - pink & pearlie
Totally Papercrafts - all of a flutter
Stampin' for the Weekend - photo inspiration

It's Pav's birthday tomorrow, although he insists his 'birthday weekend' started yesterday!  We've been to Pizza Hut today with Pav's family, then we took the boys to see Monsters University... nothing to do with us wanting to see it of course lol - ooh it was fabulous!  And tomorrow we're going to my mum's for a bit of a BBQ so that should be fun... It's a wee bit hot for me though, I'm wilting!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  24. I really, really like that! No way is there too much frantage - it's what makes this so perfect shabby chic. So happy to hear I'm not the only person who does not like this heat - it's just too much! Have a fab week Karen x
