Pink Petticoat anniversary card

Hello everyone :o)

Here's a card I made for my auntie to give to her husband for their anniversary... I used a set of papers I bought a while ago from Pink Petticoat, and followed an old sketch from Mojo Monday...

Items Used
White linen cardstock - Papermill Direct
Papers - Just an Old Fashioned Girl - Pink Petticoat
Sentiment - Tiny Sweetheart Sentiments - Pink Petticoat
(I added the 'on our anniversary' bit underneath)
Stitched circle & scalloped border dies - MFT dienamics Blueprints 3
Heart dies - Lil Inkers

I had a lovely 'proud mummy' moment today... We took Dex to his friend's party, and the birthday boy's grandma came over and said she thinks Dex is a really lovely boy, and he's her favourite of Finn's friends.  Aww!  I nearly cried lol... and they're in the same class next year so that'll be good for them.

Right, off for a little catch up with some of your blogs... Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  5. Great card Lisa. Love the layout.

Not surprised you're a proud Mummy, Lisa, it's really nice when someone tells you what a nice child you have! I remember when Catriona was at nursery and the staff there said what a lovely nature she had. She still has! I was pretty chuffed then too.

Have a lovely weekend. Sorry I haven't been around much, my broadband is a nightmare just now!

  6. I like this layout, and with papers as sweet and decorative as these you really don't need any embellishments. The card is really cute!
