Butterfly swirl

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I thought I'd make a DL sized card for a change - haven't made one of these for a very long time!  I cut the card blank myself so it could have the fold at the top, as I prefer all my cards top fold.


The swirl was made using a template (from Bazzill Basics)... I've had these templates for years and hardly used them.  I'm glad I dug them out again though, they're great for using with pearl pens as I've done here.  I just marked each 'hole' on the template with a little pencil dot, removed the template and then followed the pencil markings with Viva pearl dots - easy peasy!

White linen, black & yellow cardstock - Papermill Direct
Impression Obsession Butterflies die - MCH
MeiFlower Gems - MCH
Viva Pearl Pen in Metallic Anthracite - MCH
Sentiment stamp - Stampin' Up

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - anything goes (+optional animals/ creatures)
Cupcake Craft - anything but square

I had a lazy day watching the tennis yesterday... such a brilliant match between Djokovic and Del Potro, and it was great to see Andy Murray go through to the final too!  Morgan came home from Katie's party very excited - he thought it was very funny that the limo played music 'with all the swear words still in Mum!' and they were all given a full glass of champagne... they're only 10 lol!

I should probably go and make something, seen as I didn't yesterday!... Hope you all have a lovely day :o)

    So elegant Lisa - I think I have some of those templates somewhere - I must go and find them - thanks for the inspiration.
    I have loved the tennis and so looking forward to the final - but might have to 'listen' rather than watch as I get to nervous lol!!!
