Getting back into Less is More...

Morning everyone :o)

This year I want to get back into playing along at Less is More - I used to join in every single week but got out of the habit.  As I really need to make some batches of simple cards now (assuming my cards actually sell in the gift shop, fingers crossed...), I'm putting LIM on my weekly 'to do' list again!

This week Chrissie and Jen would like to see black & white with just a touch of another colour...


I made a batch of these in different colours, and for a few different occasions, but I think this blue version is my favourite so I won't bore you with all the others!

Items Used
White linen & plain black cardstock - Papermill Direct
A scrap of blue coredinations found lurking in the scraps drawer
Sentiment - Stampin' Up
Word Window punch - Stampin' Up
Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly punch - MCH
White & blue pearls from my stash

It was Dex's birthday yesterday, and he had a great day - although he was amazed he still had to go to school lol... he was fine once he got there though, especially as they're allowed to take cakes in for all the class.  We had a bit of a tea party for him at my mum's so I didn't get chance to blog yesterday - hoping to catch up with lots of you later.  Hope you all have a lovely day :o)

    Such a fabulous card Lisa and so elegant.
    Happy belated Birthday to Dex, it was my son Sam's birthday on Monday and he was a bit miffed that he had to go to school but it worked out well as the dinner ladies sang Happy Birthday to him, he said it was a fab day. Sleepover party on Saturday!

    Ok now I'm not speaking to you....I dont see how its fair that you do LIM so easily where mere mortals like moi struggle.....yes its bloody gorgeous!!

    I have to let mine have their birthdays off school, the argument is my eldest Ben always gets his off....well its on new years eve nowt I can do about that... Yeah try telling kids that when they were young, now its just stuck lol.
