Guest DT at Little Miss Muffet

Morning everyone :o)

I haven't posted for a few days, due to still being ill - I keep saying I'll go to the doctors, but I'm fairly sure it's just a nasty virus.  I've still been making stuff, but I've not done much colouring and haven't really felt like blogging either... seem to have lost my mojo a little...

Anyway, a while ago I won a challenge at Little Miss Muffet, and as part of my prize I was offered a Guest DT post for this week.  The challenge is 'hearts & flowers' and I've used an image that I actually bought as a Pollycraft digi ages ago, but is now available as a rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet.

A Gem of a Challenge - emboss it

Morning everyone :o)

I still feel terrible... thought I might need antibiotics but as I'm very sneezy now as well as all the coughing, it's probably just a bad cold.

Really hope I'm feeling better soon - so many fab new goodies to play with and no energy at all... it's not fair!  Thank you for all your birthday wishes, and extra big thank yous to my lovely blog buddies who sent me cards!  We didn't go to the cinema (coughing too loud!), but I still had a lovely day and really have been spoilt rotten this year - I'll take a photo of all my new crafty stuff this weekend. I'm going to practise leaving comments using my new Kindle Fire today, so if I leave you a load of nonsense you'll know why lol.

Cough cough cough!

I'm still ill, and feeling quite grumpy about it... my birthday is tomorrow, hubby booked the day off so we could go to the cinema, but at this rate we'll end up going nowhere.

I must have looked rough this morning - hubby actually took the boys to school for me!  To put that into context, I even did the school run when I had pneumonia...

Anyway, I haven't been feeling all that creative, and couldn't face colouring at all, but I did have a little potter about in the craft room and very slowly made a card.

It could have done with a bit more 'stuff' adding, but it took so long just to get to this point, so I gave up!

Soooo... I did say I was going to keep up with all the Less is More challenges this year, so a little thing like the theme being 'sport or exercise' as well as it being one-layer week, wasn't going to put me off...

Well ok, so my card is just blah, but at least I've made something!  I might have another go later in the week, see if I can come up with one I like better.

I've been very lucky lately with quite a few challenge wins, and that stripy banner stamp is from a fab set that I chose from Uniko using a voucher that I won.  I stamped that first, then masked it and added the border stamp (can't remember the make!) and then a Little Claire bicycle stamp.  The sentiment is Personal Impressions, and I added some red pearls from my stash.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I've got a nasty chesty cough that looks like it's turning into a cold... it'd better get lost very soon - it's my birthday in a few days, and I know I've got lots of lovely crafty pressies coming... won't be happy if I'm not well enough to play with them!  Ooh and my mum's got me a Kindle Fire - I'm hoping that'll help me to keep up with blog commenting... has anyone got one, and do you use it for that?

Well, at the risk of sounding like an old misery, I'm quite pleased that Christmas and New Year are over for another year!  It's lovely to be back to making non-Christmas stuff again, and getting everything back to normal.  I'm still trying to catch up with DT makes, orders, and sorting cards out to take into the gift shop, and it's Dex's birthday next week (and then mine the week after!), so I'm just as busy as I was before Christmas really lol.
