Teddy with Penguin

Hello everyone :o)

Sorry to have disappeared at the weekend - we were all poorly on Friday and Saturday, and then yesterday I managed to slop a cup of tea all over the laptop and the keys went a bit random so I couldn't type anything!  Hubby ordered a new keyboard for it, but it seems to be working ok today.

Today's card is for my mum (and her hubby) to give to my grandma.

Items Used
Large 8" square card blank - Craftwork Cards
Stamp - Teddy with Penguin - LOTV
Colouring - copics & promarkers
Papers - Bo Bunny Welcome Home - MCH
(Green paper is from an old Dovecraft 8x8 pad)
Spellbinders floral oval die
Memory Box corner bow die - MCH
Letter dies - Sizzix Night & Day alphabet
Flower - Prima Cabaletta Spring - MCH
MeiFlower light blue gems - MCH
Stickles in Frosted Lace
Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Ice White - MCH
Pearls & ribbon from my stash

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Lili's Little Fairies - 3 dies or punches (corner bow, letters, oval)
Joanna Sheen - with love at Christmas
Cupcake Craft - merry Christmas
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' - anything goes (hope it's ok to enter, Sweet Stampin' teamies!)
Charisma Cardz - Christmas
Delightful Challenges - all about Christmas
Paper Play - Christmas is coming
Dream Valley - Christmas
The Ribbon Girls - Christmas

I'm off out Christmas shopping with my mum tonight... I really loathe shopping, and do most of it online, but it's become a bit of a tradition that we at least do the toy shops together each year.  Hoping not to be out too late though, fingers crossed!

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  13. A lovely card, Lisa, such a sweet image, beautifully colored! Love the blue DP you've used, the fence at the bottom of the page works so well! The oval die cut is so decorative, so is the rosette, and glad you remembered those "twirly bits" - I'm sure that will make your mum happy:)

  26. Gorgeous card Lisa. Love that sweet image.

Glad to hear you're all feeling better now.

Hope your shopping with your Mum went well. I've been out for a fun-filled evening tonight. It was our Guild Christmas meal and we always do quizzes and daft singing and have a lot of fun. I'm sure no-one who heard all the noise and laughter would believe we were members of what used to be the Women's Guild but is now just the Guild as everyone is welcome and we had one brave man in the company. It's a Church of Scotland organisation but I'm sure the staff in the hotel thought we were a real rowdy lot lol!
