Happy birthday for a 4yr old...

Hello everyone :o)  Is it just me, or is coming up with remotely interesting post titles one of the trickiest things about blogging?!  This one's especially uninspired.

I've had a much better day today... Dex is still poorly, but hubby was home so I escaped for lots of peace in the craft room lol.  I'm not sure if he's going to be well enough for school tomorrow, but he says he wants to go, so hopefully he'll sleep better tonight and be less grumpy!

Anyway, here's today's card - although I actually made it last week following a sketch, for a challenge I'm now too late to enter...

Items Used
Happy Birthday stamp - Papermania
Coloured with promarkers (with some letters paper pieced)
'4' stamp - Birthday Numbers - Pink Gem Designs
Papers - Echo Park Summer Days - MCH
Nestabilities circle dies
MFT Dienamics Mini Scalloped Border die
Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade & Frayed Burlap

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Cards For Men - anything goes
DYSU - rainbows
Created With Love - birthdays with a number
Paper Play - paper piecing

Hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

  14. Fab card, love the layered sentiment. Hope Dex is feeling better soon. I think I'm coming down with a cold today, I can always tell when my tonsils swell up and that happened yesterday. The cold is making it's way into my face now so I think it'll be time to buy the balm tissues tomorrow so I don't look like Rudolf by Tuesday! And yup, the blog post titles are hard to think of. Sometimes I'm inspired to think of something funny, other times, it's just what is says on the tin!!!
    Have a fab evening Lisa.

  32. Hi Lisa, what a fabulous card! Love the sentiment - I would never have thought of layering it like that (I think I might even have that stamp and consigned it to the depths!!! Maybe I'll have to re-think that decision ;-) )
