Less is More - yellow

I've made a quick card for this week's Less is More challenge, which is 'yellow' - I love yellow, so if I'd had a bit more time I'd have made a few more for this one.  But as I only had about half an hour in the craft room, this will have to do!

I've used a teacup die, from a set of nesties that was in my candy win from the lovely Debs, and a sentiment from the Coffee Break set from DigiStamp Boutique.  The paper is a digi one from Raspberry Rd, printed onto linen card, the flower was cut with an x-cut punch and the gem is from my stash.  I inked around the edges of the cup with antique linen and frayed burlap distress inks, and lightly around the edges of the card base with antique linen.

I'm also entering my card for the 'food or drink' challenge at Cute Card Thursday.

We've had a letter inviting us to a parent's induction session at the school next week - I can't believe Dex will be starting school after the summer, he's far too little!  Just the thought of him in a school uniform is enough to make me well up lol, so I dread to think what I'll be like when he starts.  Oh well, I suppose it means a bit more quiet crafty time... look on the bright side eh?!

Hope you all have a lovely evening, will be round to catch up on some commenting later :o)

    Have a fab evening.
