Sparkly gift box

I've got quite into making boxes lately, and my mum asked me to make one for a gift she bought for a friend.



I just wish I was better at taking photos of boxes!  I've used a Penny Black sentiment stamp and some sparkly patterned card I found in my stash, the flowers are all glittery too - not that you can tell from the pic.  The sentiment was cut out using a die from Little Claire and the scalloped border is a new MFT dienamics die.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

Got the dreaded blood tests tomorrow - I HATE having blood taken, they never seem to be able to get a vein first (or 2nd or 3rd!) time and it hurts while they prod and poke me.  I'm such a wuss!

    Lovely little gift box Lisa..I like that MFT die. Hope you get a good vampire tomorrow, that can make a huge difference (I suffer from that "shy vein" syndrome, the ones that you can see CLEARLY are no good - apparently!) You're no orphan when it comes to hating having blood tests etc, yet we expect our kids to "suck it up" don't we? lol. You'll be right mate(more Aussie speak)hopefully it'll let you know why you're under the weather. See ya, Dee

    fantastic box lisa.i love the gorgeous paper and sparkle.
    i hope all went well with the blood tests.the nurse gave me special numbing cream to numb my arms last time i had them.

    you can get numbing cream for your arms. we use it for tattoos.
