Less is More and new DigiStamp Boutique images

I managed to squeeze in some time in the craft room today and made a card for this week's challenge at Less is More, where the theme is 'things that move'.  This could either be a moving component on the actual card, or featuring something that can move in real life.



I think my little girlie with her balloons probably qualifies lol :o)  She's one of the fab new 'Lil Pops' images from DigiStamp Boutique available here.

I rotated the image slightly and then cropped off part of the balloons so it would (hopefully!) look like she was floating away.  She's coloured with promarkers - no added pencils on this one because she's a bit little and fiddly, yay for the promarker fine nibs!  The sentiment is from a Flourishes set, ribbon from my stash and cardstock is DCWV.

I'm also entering my card at Charisma Cardz where the challenge is 'negative space'.

Dex's first cinema trip went really well - apart from constant loo breaks for both kids lol!  And the Smurfs was better than I thought it would be.  Sooo expensive for us all to go though - we ended up spending more than £50 on tickets, treats and drinks, so we won't be doing it too often!

    Yes the cinema is an expensive trip out, that's why we wait for it to come out on DVD or alternatively if you can't wait, smuggle in your own drinks and snacks - far cheaper LOL. Your card is fab as usual and the image is great, she definitely looks like she's floating off the page. Hugs, Claire x

    This is lovely Lisa, she definitely looks as if she's flying. Love the strong colours too.

    Glad Dex got on ok at the cinema. It's a shame it's so expensive now though. I can remember when I was at secondary school a few of us used to go every Saturday and if you had missed the beginning you could just sit there till you had seen enough!

    Hi Lisa, love the card. Great idea to have her floating off and love the colour combo. My friend and I tried going to our local cinema with the children today to see The Smurfs, but it was full! Oh the joys of living at the seaside, everything shuts in the winter and you can't get in the cinema in the summer for the holiday makers! Doesn't cost us anywhere near that though! Sarah
