Bunny Zoe's have a vintage challenge this month, which I would normally avoid, because I'm rubbish at vintage! But I thought I'd have a go for a change - it's meant to be a challenge isn't it? This is about as vintage as I'm likely to get....
I've used a gorgeous little bunny image from Di's Digi Downloads, available here, coloured with promarkers. The papers are GCD Studio 'ella blue', with coredinations cardstock. Lace and pearls are from my stash... and that's about it - a fairly simple card but I'm quite pleased with it. This card is for no particular reason, so I've not added a sentiment yet - it's great now I've moved my colouring stuff downstairs, I've actually got time to craft just because I feel like it sometimes :o)
I'm entering my card for the following challenges:
- Bunny Zoe's - vintage
- Friday Sketchers - fab sketch
- Colour Create - ivory, duck egg + 1 other
- Crafty Catz - animals
- Cupcake Craft - lace
- Creative Card Crew - cute & girlie
What a beautiful card, the colours are gorgeous. Mary x

I think you do vintage very well! I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds it hard. I love looking at other peoples, I just prefer bright and contemporary to do! I love these papers. So did the postie arrive with your new stash yet?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend. It's just started tipping down here so we could be in for a long boring one!

Its gorgeous Lisa, you've done a grand job. Fab papers that do have a vintage feel along with the lace!!

Lovely bunny. I'm not much into vintage either, so I'm pretty happy with what you've done - papers that already look old so you don't need to use the ageing techniques that make you feel you're destructing your paper, and lace... vintage enough for me!
ReplyDeleteHi, this is gorgeous Lisa and you do vintage really well, bunny looks great! Thankyou hun!

ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable Lisa and beautifully coloured. You really have pulled out all the stops on this one and it clearly shows as the card is amazing. Lovely how all the colours really work well together. By far, this one is my favourite. Really cute image too, I see it's from Di's Digi Downloads but it could easily pass as a Lili of the Valley image. I'm going over to take a look now as this image is goregous. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Fae xxx
ReplyDeleteHe's just adorable, makes me want to just give him a big squishy hug<-:
ReplyDeleteI think you did vintage very well...although I've never done vintage either. Actually I haven't done whole lot of cards but I love yours.

This is just so cute. I love the little pearl on the bunny's flower. These are my fav papers at the moment and I know the texture of them really makes a card special.
