A colouring experiment!

Now obviously I need to work on this lol, it's NOT perfect!  I got the idea from this tutorial which actually combines copics and prismas - I rushed off and ordered some Koh-i-noor pencils from Elzybells (sadly they're closing soon) so I could try it myself.  I've wanted to try them for ages so the tutorial just gave me a little push ;o)  They arrived this morning, so this is my very first attempt at combining the two, hopefully there'll be some improvements when I get the hang of it!

I've used an image from Digistamp Boutique, coloured with a combination of promarkers and koh-i-noors.  Cardstock is coredinations, with some stripy paper from my scraps - I had a sort out this weekend and you wouldn't believe the amount of scraps I found!  I've added some Doodlebug letter tiles and card candy to finish.  This one's for my brother-in-law, so I've kept it simple as I don't think he's all that bothered about anything fussy.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges:

  19. Lisa this reminds me of my lovely old long gone friend Tilly who had a penchant for sniffing around to see if she could find any glasses left on the floor! Didn't have a glass of her own mind, lol

It's little face is adorable, soooo cheeky.

  20. I think you did a great job blending the two mediums and your card came out very well.
This is my first visit and I must admit I love your simplicity. You create enough appeal without making the card busy and cluttered...love your style. I know someone that would probably love your work and is thinking about putting together a DT. If you might be interested contact me cheribabe@gmail.com
