Everybody Art GDT - pink & green/ spring

Hello again :o)

I'm back with my 2nd post for today, this time with my Guest DT card for Everybody Art Challenge, where our theme is 'pink & green or spring'.

I've used a cute new fairy image from Digi Stamp Boutique... she's available HERE.  I coloured her with copics and added lots of Glamour Dust for sparkle on her wings and crown.  The paper is a scrap of a very old 12x12 Bo Bunny sheet, that I used because it has 'splodges' of green amid the pink... but then I seem to have covered most of the green bits up!  The sentiment is a clear stamp available from Digi Stamp Boutique HERE.  I added some Doodlebug enamel dots, and then because it didn't seem quite finished, I added a couple of punched butterflies too, with Doodlebug sequins.

Papercraft Challenges - bunnies for Easter

Good Morning :o)

I'm here with the first of two posts today, this one is for the new challenge at Papercraft Challenges, where our theme is 'bunnies for Easter'.  We're sponsored by Gerda Steiner, who kindly provided images for the DT to use.

I coloured these adorable bunnies with copics, the papers are Studio Light and the heart banner die is possibly from Simon Says Stamp, but I'm not completely sure about that!  Finished off with some twine from my stash.  I've left it without a sentiment for now, as I didn't really need another Easter card and general ones always come in handy.

Sweet Stampin' - Easter

Our challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin' is 'Easter'... I don't tend to make many Easter cards, but always need one for my in-laws, so here's this year's card.

This cute little bunny (and the matching sentiment) is a clear stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, available HERE.  I coloured it with copics, and paper pieced the smallest egg.  The stitched square, scalloped frame and flower dies are all MFT Die-namics, and the enamel dots are Doodlebug.  I'm running quite low on enamel dots now... any ideas where I can get them (or something similar?) online?  So many of my favourite craft shops have gone, I'm not sure where to shop at the moment!

Pop-Up Butterflies

I've hardly made anything this week as I've not been very well, but you know when there's an idea in your head that just has to get out?  This one's been rattling around for days but I didn't feel up to doing anything with it... finally finished it last night though.

The Lawn Fawn Pop-Up Butterfly die is a recent purchase that I didn't try hard enough to resist... you can find it HERE if you also neeeed it.  The inner dotted circle is an MFT die-namics die, although I wish I'd used a smaller size, so I'll try that too at some point.  The coloured pieces behind the pop-ups are scraps of core'dinations card, the gems are from my stash.  The sentiment is a clear stamp from THIS SET from Digi Stamp Boutique, heat embossed in detail white embossing powder on black card.

Silhouette Flower set - Digi Stamp Boutique

Hello everyone :o)

I've made a quick card today, as I couldn't resist playing with some brand new images from Digi Stamp Boutique...

The Silhouette Flower set is available HERE and it's just gorgeous... I love silhouette images!  There are sentiments included, but I used one of the clear stamps from this set.  I tore a piece of paper (very unlike me!) from a Craftwork Cards pad, and rubbed gold gilding wax around the edges, added a couple of gold pearls to the flowers, and that's about it... super simple today!

Everybody Art GDT - anything goes

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my Guest DT card for Everybody Art Challenge, where our theme is 'anything goes'.  I made a card for my mum for Mother's Day, using a cute image from Di's Digi Stamps.

I nearly always use something featuring daffodils, as when I was growing up Mum would say not to spend much, she was happy with a bunch of daffodils... so now I get daffs for the boys to give her, and get her something else from me.  I coloured the image with copics... I ran out of blender refill so the background isn't quite right, and then as soon as I put an order in for refills another pen ran out... grrr!  The papers are old ones from LOTV (now retired), frame die is a Grand Nestabilities, the heart wreath is Avery Elle and the flower/ leaves are MFT die-namics.  Sentiment stamps from Digi Stamp Boutique HERE, and buttons and twine from my stash.

Sweet Stampin' - inspired by a song

Happy Saturday :o)

Our challenge over at Sweet Stampin' this week is 'inspired by a song'... I'm no good at these types of challenge, I just go blank.  But I had this card to make, and realised it could work for the song 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'... which I suppose is cheating a bit!

I've used an image from Digi Stamp Boutique called Cocktail Imogen, coloured with copics.  THe papers are from an older First Edition pad, and the scalloped card base is cream (not a dodgy photo that should be white lol!).  The number dies are MFT die-namics, made sparkly with Nuvo clear sparkle pen.  The corner bow is Memory Box and the little corner die is Whimsy, the sparkly gold enamel dots are Doodlebug.  I do still need to add a personalised sentiment, but left that off for the photo.

Heart Bunny - Digi Stamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone :o)

I've used one of the new clear stamps from Digi Stamp Boutique for today's card...

This one is Heart Bunny and I've coloured it with copics.  I added some doodled 'stripes' around the heart frame... not sure why, I just felt like it!  The mother's day sentiment stamp is available HERE and the Grandma stamp is from THIS SET.  The papers are from a Gorjuss Girl pack, most of the dies are MFT die-namics, apart from the larger circles which are from Craft Stash.  Sparkly gem from my stash.

Hello everyone :o)

As usual over at Polkadoodles it's an 'anything goes' challenge, although the DT are all following a 'celebrations' theme.

I thought I'd make a birthday card, and used a gorgeous Horace and Boo image called Slurpy Ice Cream, coloured with copics.  The sentiment is from Work & Play Love & Kisses and the papers are from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles.  I wanted to keep this one quite simple, so I've just added some twill ribbon from my stash and a tiny pearl on the cat's flower.
