Sweet Stampin' - masculine

Happy Saturday :o)

This week's challenge at Sweet Stampin' is 'masculine', which is probably one of the easiest themes for me as I love making male cards... I know I'm a bit strange though!

We've hardly stopped today... took Dex for a haircut, then to a Lego Batman 'make & take' at Toys'R'Us, then went shopping to spend some of his birthday and Christmas money, then straight out for a very wet, muddy walk with the dog... I now have a wet, stinky dog snuggled up next to me!

Jasper and Flower - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello :o)

I'm here with my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique, using one of my favourite older images Jasper & Flower.

It was my mum's birthday yesterday, so this one was for her... anything with a cute creature on is perfect for her (she currently has 6 cats and 1 dog, but that's actually quite a reasonable amount for her, she's had far more in the past!).

Playing with Gilding Wax - The Inspirers DT

I've got so behind with blogging, I've lost track of which cards have been blogged and which haven't... will try and catch up with them all over the next couple of weeks!  Here's one I made for The Inspirers DT for Crafter's Companion.

I bought some gilding wax last year and haven't really done much with it yet, then spotted a card in Crafter's Inspiration Issue 13 that inspired me to dig it out and have a play.  I embossed a couple of pieces of black card with the embossing folder that came with the magazine, then rubbed the gilding wax on with my fingers and gave it a quick 'buff' with a sheet of kitchen roll... love the effect with the spotty embossing!  I did the same with the die cut pieces - it's all cut from black card with gilding wax rubbed on.
