I'm here with my Craft Mojo DT card for this week...

I've used the new MFT stitchable circle dies for this one... although I didn't actually stitch them, I just left them with the contrasting cardstock peeking through.  Fun effect, isn't it?

We had a fab day out in Whitby yesterday... well, apart from a very long, slow journey because a section of the motorway was closed for a while.  When we finally got there, the boys had a great time and there was no squabbling at all... we might have to borrow Morgan's friend again if that's the effect he has lol.  Had a bit of rain, but we went for fish & chips (yum!) and by the time we were back outside it'd stopped.  Wish we could go every week... it's a shame they have to go back to school isn't it?!

Little Miss Muffet Challenges - blues & greens

Hello everyone :o)

I've recently swapped from the Facebook team to the challenge team at Little Miss Muffet, so this is my first week joining in with the challenges... Our theme this week is 'blues & greens' which I love together anyway. Come and play along... you could win a gift certificate or a guest DT spot.

I was having sticky copic issues again, so her hair is a mess!  I think a lot of my browns need refilling, but it's so expensive to buy all the refills it'll just have to wait a while.

We're off to Whitby for the day again tomorrow, as long as it doesn't rain too much... we ended up inviting Morgan's friend along as it was the only way they could meet up again before they both start school (they're going to different ones).  We've never taken him out for the whole day before, so hopefully that'll go ok.  Not sure why I'm worrying really, he's a nice lad and gets on well with both of my two... I'm sure it'll be fine!

Cute Santa Collection - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique, and I've used an old favourite for this one... I just love these Santa images, they get used every year.

I've tried one of the Heidi Swapp sprays that are new in at Craft Mojo... this is the white one, sprayed on black card, and it's fabulously sparkly.  Think I need more colours!

Furry Friends Texting - Sugar Nellie DT

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my Sugar Nellie DT card, using another of those cute Furry Friends digi stamps... this one is called Texting.

I didn't really have anyone in mind when I started making it, but it'll probably end up being Morgan's card from Dex, as it's his birthday next month.  The patterned paper is from my scraps, so I'm not sure what it is.

We've been shopping for all the school uniform, shoes, bags and everything else today, which has to be one of the worst jobs of the year... still, at least it's more or less all done now.  Can't believe Morgan will be at 'big school' in just over a week!

Rainbow birthday - Craft Mojo DT

Happy Saturday :o)

I'm here with my DT card for Craft Mojo, using that fab Paper Smooches rainbow die again, with one of this month's new stamps from MFT... love these new spotlight sentiments.

I meant to use one of the Paper Smooches stitched dies to add a border either side of the sentiment, but I forgot and stuck the rainbow in place!  So I embossed the borders using my score board instead.

I've been a rubbish blogger again for the last couple of days... I'm really not wishing the boys back to school, I'm loving having them at home... but it'll certainly be easier to get everything done when we're back into a routine!  Off for a little commenting catch up now, hope you all have a lovely evening :o)
